I have been chasing the Mullet “GOLD” and throwing fish from Alabama to Florida since 1996. I have been competing for three decades, now that’s scary. LOL During the early years, when I was in my forties, the competition was so fierce I was rarely able to qualify.

Unfortunately, in 2009 and 2010, I was unable to reach the podium, but knew I would have another opportunity next year.

There was no Mullet Toss held in 2005 and 2006 because there was no Florabama. Hurricane Ivan had ravaged the area.
