I have more than 3,000 books on my want to read shelf on Goodreads. I am going through them, checking my kindle and bookshelves, and if I don’t already have them, deleting them. BUT, how am I ever going to read all the ones I do have? I try to ignore new freebies coming my way, but not doing a very good job of it. LOL I don’t even have all my Kindle books on the reading list.
I am sure the fact that the book takes place in the Florida Keys is one of the reasons I grabbed this mystery. I downloaded America Rising by Tom Paine from Amazon on 7.5.12 and added this to my TBR on 7.6.12. It is currently 3.99.

I don’t have all the books on my ereaders up on my TBR yet either. I’m pretty sure I’ve missed out a few paperbacks too!
oh yeah, i forgot about the paperbacks and even a few hardcovers..
Between my physical tbr and my kindle tbr I am afraid to count them. I will be mortified at the #, I’m sure!

Good luck on passing on the freebies! LOL I can’t do it! I have tried no matter how HUGE my TBR is on Goodreads but no luck some of them sound so darn good I just must have them! I do need to seriously clean up my TBR though as some of the books on there don’t really even appeal to me anymore? Has that happened to you?
yes and i am trying to clean it up a bit. it is such a gargantuan task, i will probably never have it complete, but i do love a challenge. 🙂
Probably too political for me, but I like that you are trying to attack your TBR. I go through every once in a while, but I will keep books I don’t own on my shelf, because it helps me remember to check the library.

This one is completely new to me. My ereader is so full of books! I don’t even know what I have but I know that it is over 4,000 titles. I sometimes don’t remember why I added a book in the first place.
yeah, most of the time i don’t know why i added it either. lol i know i have over 3000 on goodreads, but not all my kindle or physical books are on there. i at least need to add the physical books, because i try to read all of them, even the ones that don’t really appeal to me. the authors took the time to send them, so i feel the least i can do is read them.
My TBR is so outdated. I have lots of books I’ve not added there. I should set one day a week aside just for straightening it up. LOL
only one day LOL i don’t think mine will ever be complete, so my recommendation to newbies to goodreads is to do it from the getgo. 🙂
