LATEST HAPPENINGS
Hello everyone. Glad to see you stopping in. It is still raining and everything is looking green and healthy. A bit out of control. Mr Wonderful has been working a lot, so we haven’t done much. I am watching a lot of movies and enjoying every minute of it. I want to be working outside and swimming in the pool. But, an injury gives me a reason to read, read, read….and I am doing a lot of it.I have never been this caught up on review books, but I haven’t been taken many new ones in right now. I need to get my challenger in order, since half the year is gone. Do you do any challenges? I enjoy them, but I do limit myself. I watched a great movie, Red Dog. Have you heard of it? Check it out. It had me crying more than once and I am glad Mr Wonderful was working so he didn’t see me. I’ve been trying to get back into visiting blogs at least twice a week and leaving a comment. LOL

Injuries are no fun! I hope you heal quickly! It’s great that you were able to read so much and catch up on your review books and reading challenges! I’m trying to catch up to, but keep getting distracted by other books I want to read. Have a great week Sherry!
it is so much better and i keep pushing the pt. sometimes i can’t stop reading long enough to even write reviews, but i’m trying to change that so i am always caught up. still have those ‘shame’ reviews but am picking them off one by one.
Yes, I’ve heard of Red Dog (and that it’s good). I also saw a good movie this week called The King’s Speech. It was so sweet and tough to watch at times (I cried), awesome movie.
i’ll be checking that out. thanks for the mention priscilla.
I’ve been watching a lot of shows and movies too. Red Dog sounds good and I’ll catch it. I hope you are healing and will be able to enjoy puttering in the yard soon, Sherry. Mine is a mess too! LOL
i think you’ll love it. glad you are finding time for reading and movieing. lol the yard will still be there tomorrow. lol
So sorry that you have an injury. I do agree that it is a perfect reason to stay inside and read. I hope you have a wonderful week!
thanks carole. so true.
I have issues with dogs in movies and book. They always seem to die, and my heart can’t take it.
I know what you mean and yes…I cried…twice, but was worth it.
I need to get on with a few of my reading challenges as I’m lagging behind on a few of them! This week I really need to get some books read!
sometimes life offers more interesting things or a nice change of pace from reading. i am too much of a couch potato. lol
I’ve not heard of Red Dog…gotta check it out!
it’s based on a true story and i quickly fell in love with the guy. has a big personality.
I haven’t done any challenges this year- taking the year off haha- and I love it. But they are fun too. and it’s been raining non stop here lol. I have to cut the lawn practically every day!
Mr Wonderful has been doing the lawn, but now we are having some issues with our rider. Go figure….And what is that I see out my window…SUN.
Injuries or illness drive me crazy because I want to do what I want. I hope it’s better soon but it is good to take advantage of the time effectively (and fun). I hope you just keep improving and have an excellent week. Happy reading!
