“Red Red Wine” is a song originally written, performed, and recorded by American singer Neil Diamond in 1967. I like UB40’s version better, but it wouldn’t let me share. You can see it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXt56MB-3vc
I first heard Red Red Wine when I moved to Alabama in 1987. I used to roll down the windows and cruise, singing at the top of my lungs. Have you ever done that?

I grew up listening to Neil Diamond (one of my dad’s favorites!), but I did love the spin UB40 gave to the song. None the less, it is a clear picture of what a brilliant songwriter Diamond is
he has a lot of songs that i have and still do enjoy. glad to see another fan.
