Hi Everyone. The weather this week is the coldest we have had this winter. I do not miss what others are going through, shoveling snow, scraping windshields, and wearing all those clothes. I am originally from Michigan and lived in New York for ten years, so I know what it is like. That is why I wanted to move away from it. LOL
I think the birds are confused with our warm weather. I went out to mess with the pool and scared a yard full of robins up into the trees. I managed to get one good photo through the window, before we tried to go out, quietly sit on the patio and wait for them to come down from the trees. No such luck. They were very skittish.
Stay safe and wear a mask..

Yeah, we think the plants around here were confused this past month with our warm weather, started having buds and shoots coming out of the ground. It’s crazy! Hope you have a good week!

How do people live in snow? I’d have to start by buying a coat, as it’s not a necessity here along the Texas Gulf Coast. And someone would have to teach me how to use one of those big shovels.
Love the photos of the robins.
You have a busy week ahead showcasing lots of great books. Enjoy!
Yes it’s been a lot of back and forth here in NC ranging from 15 to 65 over a week. But our snow isn’t lasting long. It’s all gone today after the second sprinkling we got yesterday. I am very familiar with the snow from Minnesota.

Our robins are still in their winter phase, when they go out in the woods in big flocks. In 6 or 8 weeks they will come back into town and pick their territories, pick mates, raise chicks, and stay away from the flocks until next winter.

It does appear as if the weather is a bit messed up all around the globe. There are parts in SA who are drought stricken who have had ongoing floods for the past couple of weeks now. Our summer was also at least a month late. We can’t control the weather I guess! But at least we can control what we want to read!
Hope you have a great reading week planned! Thanks for stopping by earlier and for your lovely compliment, it means a lot!
You got some great pictures of the Robins! I actually saw a Robin a few weeks ago in Wisconsin. We had a few warm days. I think the poor thing was quite confused. I hope he got to a warmer location before the really cold weather came.
Have a great week!
I spent decades in the Syracuse area and am not missing the snow at all… your photo looks all to familiar, lol! Nice pictures of the birds!
I used to live on the east coast and don’t miss shoveling snow either. Happy reading.
I want to move away from it too. 🙂
Hope you warm up!
I’ve only lived in Florida for 2 years. Before that I was in New York and these horrible snowfalls are definitely not missed by me.
I hope you have a great week!
I’m not sure my comment went through.
I’ve only been in Florida for 2 years. Originally I’m from New York and definitely not missing the snow.
Have a great week!
I used to work with some older patients from upstate New York who had moved south after they retired. The stories they told about the snow up there sounded miserable. I’ll avoid that at all costs if I have the choice!
Enjoy your week!
Yeah, I am not a fan of snow, shoveling, bundling up, or anything else having to do with winter. Love the bird photos!
The snow has been heavy recently as well! Glad you are somewhere warmer!
I love the photos of the robins! I have never lived anywhere where it snowed and don’t imagine I would like it much. I hope you have a great week and happy reading!
I love your picture! Hilarious variation on an American classic.
Have a nice week, with great books.

Snow looks pretty but it’s seems to be so much work!
Wishing you a great reading week
I’m not a fan of the extreme heat here in Southern California where it seems like we have Summer for 9 months, but I wouldn’t want to live where it snowed a bunch either! Love your bird pics! I just bought a strong pair of binoculars so I could do more bird watching.
Cold weather here, too, in my part of FL, but nothing like that photo you shared! I can’t imagine dealing with that all the time. I’ll stick with our Florida version of winter. 🙂
