Happy Sunday! I am bracing for Tropical Storm Alberto and hoping my power doesn’t go out. Hurricane season is rapidly approaching, but that is part of living in the south. That’s okay. Every place has its own weather issues and, at least, with hurricanes and tropical storms, we have plenty of advance notice. Hope your weather is nice and your weekend nicer. Be talking at you.

Did you find anything you like or is there a book you just can’t live without that you would like to recommend to all of us?

I hope you can avoid the worst of the storm and that the power stays on for you.
Me too, but I’m ready.
Lets hope it stays on the more eastern track! Kind of scary that we are already getting tropical storms this early. Stay safe.
My fingers are crossed too. Stay safe and read on…
Urg! I hope you are fully braced and that all that bracing is completely unnecessary, anyway… Take care and wishing you a peaceful, unstormy week, Sherry!
Stay safe! I live in Charleston, SC and am well aware of the weather in the south. I lost my first home to Hurricane Hugo. Keep us posted.
I’m always ready and most of the time it’s unnecessary. It’s rare when they start so early though. I wonder…
Stay safe!!!!
Stay safe during the storm. Have a good week!
My brother is in Tampa and gets some storms but is far enough away from the shore it never seems to be a big deal. I’m in NC and it has been a rainy week. Today is the first day where it has rained most of the day, though. It is making me sleepy. I made gluten-free pizza for us for a late lunch and am making turkey wild rice soup for dinner.
