Aloha, one and all. I am thinking tropical thoughts in this sweltering heat that I love so much. Really though, I love it. We have rain most every day. Everything is lush and green.

BUT…We did have plenty of time to visit Pensacola Beach two days in a row for the summer Pensacola Beach Blue Angels Air Show. Here is a video and some pics for your enjoyment.

Also…Mr Toad has made himself right at home. Mr Wonderful and I went to the pet store and got him some goodies…MMMMMM Crickets are for dinner.

  1. The Tide has been on my ereader for a while now. I didn’t much like Broken World. I have the first Sunblinded book but the second isn’t free in the UK so I can’t get that.

  2. Yay for the Blue Angels! We see ’em every so often at the Cherry Festival in Traverse City and it’s always a good show. And love the Mr Toad videos- he doesn’t mess around. 🙂

  3. I can’t wait to see what you think of Katie Ruggle’s books. I’ve read both of these and a couple more and hooked on her characters. Mr. Toad looks like he’s grown. I have one that hides under my sega and comes over to my back door at night. The glass allows light to shine outside and draws bugs. You can hear him hit the glass when he gets one.

    • I’m looking forward to reading the Ruggles books. Yeah, Mr Toad faces the screen door a lot of the time. I think he’s looking for snacks. Quite entertaining, aren’t they?

  6. Oh that would be very cool to see in person. We’ve got the heat here but dang it hardly any rain. Been doing a LOT of watering to keep things alive outside. Whew!

    • I hate watering. We’ve had a lot of rain, but it usually is hit and miss, so we are able to do the things we want, especially on the beach. Stay cool….

  7. I used to go to a lot of air shows with my dad when I was young. I have great memories of them. ✈ Mr. Toad is the bomb, ha ha. I love it. Why is there no toad emoji? 🐸 The cover to Unknown is super creepy. 👽 I hope you had a wonderful week. 🌞

    • I have seen the Blue many times, but I still keep going. So fascinating and it’s a nice time hanging out, especially on the beach. I never thought about a toad emoji, but he deserves one. Doesn’t that eye get ya. lol
