Happy Sunday everyone. We have been having some great weather. I even enjoy the thunderstorms, as long as they don’t take out my cable and internet. I love the crack of the thunder, the flash of the lightening brightening up the sky, the rain pouring down, and the rainbow when it’s over. There is always a rainbow…somewhere, whether I get to see it or not. The air is so fresh and the haze from the heat is washed away.
I always get a kick out of a sun shower. I shot this photo out the back door. The sun is out and the rain is coming down, down, down, down…
Be sure and check for the “0”!

Sun showers are fun! And I love a good thunderstorm too!But yes only as long as it doesn’t take the internet out lol. But I love watching the lightning and thunder.
Love the unicorn in the pool! 🙂
Good to see another nature lover. We thought the unicorn was a giant one, but it does just fine.
Sun showers are an interesting phenomena. (Love the unicorn, BTW). Congratulations on all your wins. Nice haul!
Thanks Sam.
Wow, those are some awesome packages. I love the photo. Didn’t even see the rain before you mentioned it!
Yeah, the rain is pretty subtle. Just a summer shower.
You got quite a good haul. And wow, you got Children of Blood and Bone! I loved that book and can’t wait for you to read it. It is amazing.
Have a lovely week and happy reading!
My wrap-up: https://flippingthruthepages.com/2018/09/weekly-wrap-up-2/
Yeah, I am super excited about that. I keep looking at it, anticipating when I will start reading. Teasing myself. lol
I’m not crazy about the storms. I got hit by lightning twice this summer and had to replace pool pump and DVD player along with cable modem. What a pain. Great haul, Sherry!
My Sunday Post
Yeah, we had to replace our wifi too. It sucks. Now all are on surge protectors. Hope you saw something that appealed to you.
Congrats on your win of Children of Blood and Bone. Super jealous.
Check out what I got this week – Ashley @ Oh Hey! Books.
I’m really looking forward to reading it.
I love when it rains while it’s sunny outside! It’s the best time to swim, too. So fun!
I’ve been on hold for The Children of Blood and Bone at my library for weeks. The last time I checked, it still said I had about 10 weeks left. Hah! I hope you enjoy it!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
The pool looks inviting. And I hope you will like the Children of Blood and Bone. I have heard nothing but good things about it.
I’m jealous of your pool and your unicorn!!! Have a great week 🙂
Thanks. It took Mr Wonderful and I some time to get here, but we know have our piece of paradise and loving it.
I love sun showers, too. 😊
Congratulations on your wins! I want to read Children of Blood and Bone, also. I keep forgetting to check to see if Hoopla has it. 📚
I hope your week started out great. 🌞
I’d love a house with an indoor swimming pool to use whatever the weather!
I love the unicorn. We closed up the pool last weekend. It has just been too cold here to swim. We had so much rain we barely got to go in it this year. What can you do? I do love a good rain shower.
Mary
