Have been messing around outside as much as the weather allows. I am determined to have the yard in pretty good shape this month or early in March. I want to get a jump on it, because it was so hot out last year, I couldn’t work outside much, but I could hang around the pool, which I DID have cleaned up. I am getting ready to make sure all the chemicals are in order, so I am trying to keep it leaf free. The oak leaves are pretty heavy because of the high winds. I haven’t had to run it a lot because of the cool weather, but with March right around the corner, I need to get it swimalicious! It’s starting to warm up. I can put my hand in the skimmer to retrieve the leaf basket and not feel like my hand is on fire. LOL I believe I have become a weather wimp down here. 🙂

  2. We have a pool at our apartment complex but it’s been closed for going on 3 years because management only wants it open when they have a manager on site and we haven’t had one here in all that time.

  3. I don’t think our pool opens until May. We haven’t gone because COVID. It’s warm enough I’ve worked with compost and weeding but next month will be more, probably planting the garden in the later half of the month.

  5. I was just telling my husband today that we are going to need to start working on the yard very soon. We have an above-ground pool but it is too early to open it yet. Although, my 7-year-old niece told me yesterday that she was going to bring her swimming suit when she comes to stay the night at our house next weekend. Have a great week!

  9. I recently watched a documentary on Lizzie Borden. Sounds like a fun take on the story.

    I would imagine Florida warms up pretty quick like Southern California so you would want to get the pool ready before the horrid heat overwhelms! Happy reading, Sherry!
