Hello fellow bloggers. A belated Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate the holiday.
I will be getting up in the attic in the next day or two to start decorating for Christmas. I feel the world needs some sparkle and there are never enough twinkles to light up the house. We are thinking of an artificial tree this year, at least I am. I think it is time. I’m getting older and it seems every time I turn around I have an issue with some ache or pain. It gets harder to crawl around in the attic, yet I will continue to do so… How about you? Have you started decorating? Finished? Don’t celebrate?

I didn’t exactly plan it, but I got up Friday morning all fired up to decorate. 🙂 I spent most of the day Christmas-fying the house and yesterday the husband did the outside lights. Definitely feels like Christmas now. 🙂 Good luck getting everything out of the attic!
today is the day
I talked my mother into an artificial tree years ago. She liked that she could keep it up for a really long time (bonus there). Since they moved into a smaller place, she could not fit her tree. I got one of those pull up trees. It was up in about 3.5 mins, fully decorated. Amazing! Have fun decorating!
wow. we broke down and bought one. it’s not like the one you described, but i am not feeling highly motivated, so it sounds like a great idea. i think mr wonderful will be doing most of the decorating this year and i’m along for the ride. 🙂
I actually found a bag of tinsel stuffed behind a bookcase when I moved everything. I’m taking it as a sign to put up decorations in my room for the first time in about 6 years! We don’t have a tree but tinsel on the bookcases will be nice!
i think it’s a sign too. i like sparkly and lights
We decorated for Christmas on November 1st so that ken could celebrate with us. I’m glad we did.
now that’s thinking ahead. i always plan on getting it done before thanksgiving and i don’t think i ever had
We haven’t started on Christmas stuff yet Usually Dec 6. The decorations are stored in totes in the garage these days. I don’t know about going out to get a tree this year though.
