LATEST HAPPENINGS
Hi All. Glad to see you here. Halloween is over and I was glad to see we had more treaters than usual. We don’t get a lot so I hand out handfuls of candy. The only bad thing is, I eat almost as much as I give away. I LOVE chocolate. Time is going by so fast and the cooler weather is setting in. We had a lot of rain last week and needed it. Today the sun is shining and, even though it’s only 66 as I write this post, it feels warmer.
Well, that’s about it for this week. Leave a link and I’ll stop by and check you out.

We don’t really do Halloween where I am and I’m glad-I don’t want kids demanding chocolate at my door when I’m trying to read!
lol it was an inconvenient interruption
Everyone brought their leftover candy to work on Friday, but I am more of a chip and dip girl. I do love gummy/chewy candies though.
that’s one way to keep from eating it all themselves. lol
We didn’t have enough treaters so I’m eating too much candy. I need to send some with my daughter to college to give away 66 is nice, we are going to get in the 40s later this week with 20s at night. Cooler is better than 90s though. Have a wonderful week!
we don’t get a lot but i always go back to when i took my son trick or treating, so i give handfuls trying not to have too much left for me to eat. lol
We had some leftover candy but we had a decent number of kids stop by the house even though it was cold. I buy the candy I like so that I can sample a few…or more 🙂
we get a variety but i pick out my favorites. 🙂
Halloween was so cold here lol. And I probably ate more chocolate than I gave out. 🙂
it was a bit chilly here but at least the rain quit long enough for the kids to treat
I can’t resist the chocolate either. We didn’t have as many trick-or-treaters as past years, but our street is a bit out of the way, so most of the foot traffic tends to stick to the several streets next to ours. Many of those houses along that route go all out for Halloween. It’s really a sight to see. I hope you have a wonderful November. Take care and happy reading!
some friends of our live in a big subdivision that gets tons of trick or treater. we used to go over there every halloween, but as we’ve gotten older, they quit having the parties. it was amazing to see the houses decked on and people driving their children in to hit the neighborhoo. have a wonderful week.
The burning pumpkins! I know you guys do that every year. Been enjoying your pics on Facebook too.
you know eric, he is always doing something. he keeps me going
We had so many trick or treaters we were pretty much cleaned out of candy!
Luckily, the little dude brought some home. 😉
lol sounds like a good time. and HEY no stealing from the kiddo LOL
