Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of booksandabeat.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following: Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

GOODREADS BLURB
What happens when you fall in love with the sister of the serial killer you’re hunting? Something perfectly tortured…
ATL agent Harrison Fairclough has one thing on his mind: stopping a serial killer. He knows who the man is, where he lives and who he’s murdered. The problem? He can’t prove Liam Forrester is a killer without exposing ATL—an agency that isn’t supposed to exist. Needing to get close to Liam, and lead investigators to him before someone else dies, Harrison comes up with the perfect solution…he dates the serial killer’s sister. Except his plan quickly derails once he meets the curvy physical therapist. He’s drawn to her sensual smile, comes to crave her kisses and touch, until the body count rises.
Kiera Forrester’s schizophrenic brother, Liam, has occupied the past ten years of her life. He still does, so much that she’s moved to Florida to watch over him. When she meets her new neighbor, Harrison, she’s instantly attracted to the sexy web designer. But as their relationship heats up and Keira realizes she’s falling in love with Harrison, she’s afraid there’s no future for them. The dark secrets of Liam’s past can’t be hidden away, especially when those secrets lead to murder…

Oh my goodness – so that’s how you intermingle romance with a serial killer mystery murder tale… I hope you’re enjoying it:). This is my sci fi adventure, which is proving to be great fun – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/10/25/teaser-tuesday-25th-october-2016/
LOL You’re so funny Sarah. I love it and the book.
Gots to read this one! I’ve made a new book list just for authors I’ve neglected! LOL I will get working on more of her books.
My TT from Extinct
You won’t regret it. I’ve already been over to your place and I LOVE the book you shared.
Ha! I loved writing that scene. Adeline is one of my favorite characters. Thanks for posting, Sherry!
It shows in the writing, Kristine, and it is always my pleasure to share your fabulous books!
Okay, I must admit to a fascination with books about serial killers…and this one has that extra draw for me: A serial killer’s sister, attracted to the man hunting him.
Thanks for sharing, and here’s mine: “THE LAST GOOD GIRL”
Kristine is fantastic at twisting and turning her stories, making me wonder WTH is going on and will it ever stop. LOL
This one looks interesting! I would never have guessed it was a murder mystery based on that cover, for sure. I hope that this is one that you are enjoying. 🙂
My TT
LOVE LOVE LOVING it. Here male heroes…are all hot and hunky and if I’m going to fantasize I want them that way. LOL
This one may be too scary for me! I tend to think about books like this when I’m trying to get to sleep at night. Not a good habit, so I try to avoid them.
My Tuesday post features THREE WEEKS WITH MY BROTHER.
I like the sound of this one – I like scary!
Based on the cover alone, I probably wouldn’t pick this up, but I’ll admit that the tease does sound good.
Hi Sherry,
We seem to have a common theme between our featured books this week, of depraved villains and seriel killers.
I wonder whether the acts of retribution are as explicitly described in your book, as they are in mine.
Definitely not a genre I could read on too regular a basis and I’m not sure that I would have given either book a second glance, if I only had the cover art to decide by.
Thanks for sharing 🙂
