  1. Hey sherry,  You posted the Uptown Girl video again–LOL. But don’t  worry, I looked up Big Yellow Taxi  by Joni Mitchell.

    This song is simply a timeless classic, and I love its message. Although Mitchell was the original singer/songwriter of this song, I was only familiar with Amy Grant’s version. I discovered that Janet Jackson sampled Joni Mitchell’s song, Big Yellow Taxi, in her song, Got ‘Til It’s Gone. The message in Got ‘Til It’s Gone is somewhat different, but it’s still amazing. I also found the audience sing-along video from Mitchell’s induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007. I really enjoyed this video, albeit the audience was off-key at times. Thanks for renewing my interest in this song!

  2. I listened to Big Yellow Taxi , and it’s a great song. I haven’t heard of it before, so thanks for mentioning it. I’m going to add it to my playlist.
