Now, on to the book…and be sure to HOP around and see what everyone else is sharing
Author: Elaine Kaye
Genre: Picture Story Book
Ages: 5-8 years
It’s Saturday, and Gregory Green can’t wait to have fun with his dad on the riding lawnmower, but something is wrong. Sammy, his teddy bear and best friend, won’t get out of bed. Gregory is worried when he sees Sammy’s left leg is torn. This is a case for Doctor Mom! Can they fix Sammy? And just how did Sammy get hurt in the first place?
PRAISE FOR DOCTOR MOM
“Doctor Mom is an adorable story that shows how Moms can fix anything—even a torn limb on a beloved teddy bear! Children will enjoy the lovable little bear who needs a stitch or two and his boy who plays dress-up as a doctor.” – Wanda Luthman, award-winning author of Little Birdie Grows Up
“A sweet and heartfelt tale kids can easily identify with, and all of that with a wonderful touch of magic.” – Tonja Drecker, reviewer at Bookworm for Kids

Your book sounds delightful. Love that you shared a picture of your mom to begin. Says a lot about you – all good. Good luck with your books.

Look at all of those monkeys. I love it!
Thank you so much for participating!
My pleasure, Chrys. I hopped around and it was fun reading the others mom stories and looking at the pics. Mom’s are superheroes!!!!
What a brave woman your mom was to hold those monkeys. Not sure I’d be that brave.
I know it would creep me out, but my mother did have an adventurous spirit and wasn’t afraid of much.
It’s a drag living far from Mom. That’s a great photo–it captures an adventurous soul, for sure!
You hit the nail on the head. We went parasailing together for her 81st birthday. LOL
What a great picture and memory.
This is a fabulous hop. It brought to mind many fond memories, but that is Mom’s favorite photo, so it seemed appropriate for the occasion. 🙂
Fantastic picture 🙂 It’s so much fun getting to “meet” everyone’s mom in this blog hop. @mirymom1 from
Balancing Act
I totally agree. 🙂
Oh wow, look at the monkeys! Where was that taken? The weather looks gorgeous wherever it was.
I believe it was China. She traveled a lot and wasn’t afraid of anything.
I can see why that’s your mom’s favorite picture. She looks like she’s having a great time.

She sure did. I don’t know how many countries she visited on that trip.
I love this book and I wish Elaine every success!!
I’m glad you enjoyed it so much.
Great photo for sure with five cheeky monkeys and one brave lady. Don’t they say never work with animals in the movies? And I’m guessing the photo taken somewhere in the Far East – adventurous traveller.
Correctomundo. LOL
Your mom has a lovely smile. I hope she gets to visit you later, when she feels better.
Congratulations to Elaine on a great book that kids ought to really enjoy.
