Blog Ahead Challenges for March 2017

I really need more motivation, so these challenges are fantastic.

Why not join in?

Mini Blog Ahead #1: March 1st-15th

Dates: March 1- March 15

Goal: Schedule an additional 15 posts during the challenge.

On Day 1 of the challenge look at your number of scheduled posts. Add 15 to that. That is the number of scheduled posts you should have finished at the end of the challenge.

Any type of post counts! It just has to be a completed post.

The only stipulation is it must go live AFTER the challenge ends in order to count.

I got very behind at the end of last year and am still trying to ‘ketchup’.

I began this challenge with 4 Posts already scheduled.

My goal is a minimum of 19 posts.

I ended up with 33 post minus the 4 I originally had, so I was ahead 29 posts.

Yeah! Now to keep ahead.

~~~~~~
Mini Blog Ahead #2: June 15-30
Blog Ahead: October
.
I am really excited to participate. It really helped me last year and I just wish I would have kept up with it.
Audio Book Blast – The Voice of Divine Love by Arlene Dayrit
I will be sharing a lot of dark and gruesome this month, so I wanted to share The Voice of Divine Love by Arlene Dayrit to let you now, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
thevoiceofdivineloveaudioscreen-shot-2016-09-27-at-09-50-35“The truth of God’s love is a message many of us have always known, but we need to be reminded of it again and again. In our limited understanding, we have difficulty comprehending it.
God has loved you with an everlasting love, and yet no matter how deeply we feel him in our lives, the word of God often goes unheard. This is why, in the noise of the modern world, the simplicity of his message is all too easily lost. Yet while our prayers have no answers we can hear, that does not mean God has no voice.
The Voice of Divine Love brings his word to you, brings you the light of God’s acceptance, the comfort of his presence and love, and a guiding hand to live your life in his service. It is a chance to hear his voice amongst the raucous chatter of the world and choose to follow his way to righteousness and eternal love.
With this book, written in the hope of drawing others closer to God, helping them understand the depth of his love, and narrated as in the voice of the Almighty, you are provided a retreat in times of stress; not to simply hide from your problems, but to find their true purpose, alongside the purpose in all things. Close your eyes and rest, find solace in knowing that, even when you are alone, he is always at your side, guiding you and taking care of you, in ways no other can.
And as you are consoled, as you hear the one guiding voice which no person’s life should go without, you will find arleneanswers to the questions you have always yearned to ask: why does God allow pain into your life, why do your prayers go unanswered, your wishes unfulfilled? There is no need to turn inward, to torture yourself for these answers. Simply listen, and understand The Voice of Divine Love. “
I am Participating in #BlogAhead2016
It’s time, once again, for Blog Ahead! Woohoo!
This challenge it’s all about getting ahead and giving yourself a blogging buffer.
It’s amazing how much having extra scheduled posts can make during emergencies, vacations or just when dealing plain ol’ blogging slumps. It can really cut the stress during every day blogging as well 🙂 And what better way to get ahead than with the support of other bloggers?
Dates:
Begins– Oct 1
Ends– Oct 31
Who Can Join?
Anyone who has a blog.
Blog genre/topic doesn’t matter.
You can be a reviewer or an author, brand new, been at it for years, etc.
Everyone is welcome!
Goal:
 The goal is to hunker down for the month of October and increase the number of scheduled posts you have by 30.
Ex. On Oct 1st if you have 5 posts scheduled you would then need to end the month with 35 posts scheduled.
Whatever number you’re starting with just add 30 to get your final goal.
.
.
MY CURRENT STATUS.
I spent a lot of time blogging ahead. My hubby, Mr Wonderful, has a lot of time off the last six weeks of the year, so I used this challenge as motivation to get ahead, instead of scrambling trying to put something together in between the FUN we have traveling, golfing, and hanging out with family. I feel good about where I ended up. How about you?
  • Nov:  26
  • Dec:  17
  • Total:  43
Now the real challenge is to stay ahead! 🙂
What do Elvis and Puzzles have in Common – The Enigmatologist by Ben Adams @bentadams
The EnigmatologistSalebanner
Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00008]Twenty-something, John Abernathy is disillusioned. His job as a private investigator is unfulfilling, and he can’t find work in his chosen field, Enigmatology, the study and design of puzzles. He is about to quit when the National Enquirer calls. A woman in Las Vegas, New Mexico sent them a photo of someone who’s supposed to have died 35 years ago—Elvis Aaron Presley. And they need John to investigate it.
When the Elvis impersonator, Al Leadbelly, is murdered, John investigates, finding Air Force colonel, Alvin Hollister—convinced Leadbelly has information regarding Elvis’s death—at the crime scene conducting his own investigation. John discovers great-great-great grandfather’s journal—unearthing a conspiracy entwining Elvis, shape-shifting aliens, and Mary Todd Lincoln. When John finds Leadbelly, alive and wearing a sequined jumpsuit, John must help him escape before Colonel Hollister finds him, and discover if Leadbelly is really Elvis, an obsessed fan, or something more.
Being a teenager is hard enough. And what if your life’s path is predetermined? On top of that, you aren’t even Human?
Cayden was given life as a Cresecren. He expected to live out his days with the dysfunctional Human family he was assigned to serve. One fateful night, however, landed him in Gavaron, the home of maimed, elderly, or defiant Cresecren.
Beyond its borders is the Den, an area much more dangerous than he ever imagined. Now seventeen, Cayden unwittingly becomes involved in a conspiracy and is one of a handful of survivors fleeing a deadly attack. They set off on a perilous journey in search of refuge and the truth. Along the way, Cayden begins to comprehend the difference between fully living and merely surviving, while trying to balance his emotions and a forbidden love.
