Just in time for the 50th anniversary of JFK’s death!

The Thunderbird Conspiracy is the remarkable tale of Robert Kaye, a Hungarian freedom fighter who claimed he knew and collaborated with JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. R. K. Price’s second novel is also a tale of a Nebraska farm boy who was a great admirer of President Kennedy and a true patriot who desperately wanted to believe his government’s hurried conclusion that Oswald had no accomplice. Yet his own harrowing experience at the hands of his government created profound doubt in his mind, and it haunted him to his death.

These two men, one willfully acting, the other a true victim, became entangled in the most notorious crime of the 20th century. This saga of intrigue and murder was revealed to the author on a wintry Colorado day about three weeks before the farm boy’s ravaged heart gave out.

That man was R. K. Price’s uncle. His name was Bud Carlson. Price stashed away Bud’s account of Robert Kaye, letting it lay dormant for nearly forty years until he could corroborate his uncle’s story with the release of previously secret FBI files from the National Archives.

Now nearing the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination Price has brought Robert Kaye and Bud Carlson back to life. Their incredible story will leave you questioning just how and why JFK was taken from America far too early.

GUEST POST

A Good Story

The fiftieth anniversary of the tragic death of John F. Kennedy quickly approaches. The nation will once more honor one of its finest of fallen heroes.  There will be no celebration.  It will be a somber affair, and a new generation of Americans will join their parents and grandparents in reliving those horrifying days and tearful nights of November, 1963 to mourn the youthful President. His image is frozen in time. Besides the sorrowful reminiscing the most notorious crime of the twentieth century will again be examined as the greatest mystery of that millennium. Perhaps the greatest mystery ever. The airwaves, internet and print media will overflow with the full spectrum of opinion on topic.  Accomplished scholars will weigh in; crime writers will have a field day; bloggers will pontificate, and broadcasters will bloviate.  The story will never go away.  It is engrained in the American psyche.

And inevitably during this examination many will ponder the “what if’s.”  What if JFK had lived? What if Lee Harvey Oswald had changed his mind?  What if during that morning in Dallas someone had spotted him with his rifle and called police?  What if his shots were just slightly off target?  Or what if one of his accomplices had turned against him?  Besides Jack Ruby. Before it was too late.

Accomplices, you say.  Why?  What makes you think so?

Thunderbird does not attempt to solve Kennedy’s murder. Far from it. It is neither a scholarly recitation nor another chronicle leading up to and moving beyond the sights and sounds of those fatal gunshots.  Thunderbird does, however, present intriguing elements to this endless Shakespearean-like drama too big to ignore.  It introduces two new, honest-to-God, bigger than life characters .  Men never heard of or written about before.  They were men of such divergent backgrounds that even their chance meeting shattered all odds. They were fascinating men, each in their own right, and the people around them, some who actually were there, others who are found in my imagination, bring color and perspective to those times and to the events that shaped the nation.

Thunderbird is a book of fiction, but it contains more truth than many would like to admit.

Until the Kennedy Assassination section of the National Archives finally released secret FBI and Secret Service files on Robert Kaye his story laid dormant.  It was then, in 2008, and the unexpected revelation of the Robert Kaye dossier that I began to write.  To tell it all beginning on the day my mother’s beloved brother, Bud Carlson, sat, near death from chronic heart disease, spinning a yarn too hard for many to believe.

I truly believed my uncle’s telling on that dreary winter day in Colorado, but I was a journalist and a pretty darn good one at that.  I needed collaboration so I waited and searched for it for thirty-seven years.  I waited to describe the Hungarian freedom fighter, wounded in the bloody 1956 uprising against the Soviets, who came to New Orleans seeking solace and asylum only to find wickedness among those who conspired to kill a President.  A gullible, selfish, confused man easily manipulated by the allure of sex, money, power and standing among the group hell-bent on their murderous mission.  He made his way to Denver where he met Bud Carlson and later a man named Lee Harvey Oswald.

I waited to tell how this man shattered the innocent, yet sorrowful life of my uncle who longed for peace and tranquility after years of heartbreak and personal loss.  Their paths crossed when Bud Carlson hired Robert Kaye and a bond was forged between them. I write that Bud, too, was duped by the conniving Kaye, one of many aliases as the Kennedy investigators soon found out.  Bud trusted the talented tradesman but soon grew tired and wary of his radical views and expressed hatred for America’s leaders at the time.  Bud became suspicious but never thought for a moment his employee ever harbored such ominous motives.

Then Kaye vanished mere weeks before the Assassination leaving a wife and child behind. Like the good man he was Bud stepped in to help, giving the abandoned pair hope and financial support to await his return. Kaye has never been seen since.

I tell how days after the President’s death Bud was arrested for questioning and spent days under intense interrogation. What linked the two and forced Bud to his knees in handcuffs was a piece of evidence somehow lost or possibly ignored in America’s rush to judgment.  That evidence, I reveal, was a pair of binoculars given to Kaye by Bud Carlson as a birthday gift.  This same pair was found in Oswald’s apartment on the day of the Assassination. To his knowledge I write not once in all the millions of documents collected on Kennedy’s killing have binoculars in Oswald’s possession ever been disclosed.  But my uncle said they were his gift to Kaye, and years later, a friendly G-man confirmed to him the shocking truth. For Bud that inadvertent connection led to terrifying days that turned into years of unwarranted suspicion and harassment at the hands of a government he respected and loved.  Bud was betrayed by Robert Kaye but more hurtful was the betrayal by his nation which, through its protectors, victimized Bud Carlson as an unwitting participant in the whole sordid affair.

Bud Carlson is dead.  Robert Kaye may not be.  If he is alive let him come forward to confess and finally free Bud Carlson to rest in peace. The captivating tale of Robert Kaye and Bud Carlson and the parts they played in the Kennedy saga will assume a prominent position on the bookshelves and in the virtual libraries of America’s readers for many years to come.

A good story is right. I think I ended up with even more questions that I had before. I would say that qualifies this guest post as a huge success.

Thanks again R K Price for stopping in. I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Praise for The Thunderbird Conspiracy

“I have always been a JFK assassination conspiracy theorist and R.K. Price’s fictionalized account was a very believable account of what could have happened. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it. I was glad that the author provided such a thorough epilogue to explain what was actual and what was fictional. Great job!”Judy, Amazon Reviewer

“Price does a wonderful job unraveling the behind the scene plan to assassinate President Kennedy, while entertaining the reader with fictional characters that make the story intriguing. Robert Kaye has a dark upbringing that haunts him in his dreams and eventually takes hold of his personality. The kindness that he bestows upon his boss and the love for his girlfriend gets upended by a woman that he meets in the boardinghouse. His goodness quickly fades and an accomplice to the one of the most tragic events of the 20th century is revealed. This plausible account convinced this reader that Oswald did not act alone.”Trish, Amazon Reviewer

“This is a thought provoking novel that I just couldn’t put down. Historical fiction based on facts. How many other things in our past have been hidden from us? Cant wait for Volume 2 Mr. Price!! Bud would be proud of the excellent presentation…. job well done!”Deb, Amazon Reviewer

“If you like historical fiction, Price will knock you out. This clever mix of detailed factual elements mixed with a wildly creative fictional storyline will keep you reading – even if you’re really supposed to be cooking a holiday dinner. The Characters are real enough to draw you into their world and era – you will have stepped back into history in a way that is immediate and sensitive to modern sensibilities.”Luanne R. Haggerty: Theater Professional, Amazon Reviewer

“What a page turner! It was such an interesting story interspersed with so much real history and intimate details. I think the author really paid a fine tribute to his Uncle Bud and the story he carried to his grave. The characters were very real and so were the locations. It was a fast-paced read that I was disheartened to see finished. Can’t wait for the real history to reveal itself in documents released or uncovered in our lifetime. Thanks to the author for sharing family lore and crafting an engaging narrative.”Michael D. Bluestein, Amazon Reviewer

Going Thru Hell by T.J. Loveless
Publication date: October 1st 2013
Genres: Fantasy, Mythology, New Adult

SYNOPSIS

KYLIE RIPPONS is a SpongeBob pajama bottom wearing, Dodge Ram 1500 4×4 driving, USDA certified klutz, coffee-addicted mortal, seeking a normal life despite the constant harassment of gods and the ability to braid time.

Kylie sees actions and consequences as bright, shining timelines in her head. Born with the power to gather the strings and braid them into a new chain of events, she is the weapon of choice for many pantheons in their never ending wars. But using the ability requires fuel, and for a mortal, it means a piece of her soul.

One Mesopotamian goddess, the only forsaken Valkyrie, and a rogue, immortal, Berserker ally with Kylie. Constant harassment forces the group to take drastic action, and go on the offensive. She must braid time to save friends, and herself, as the gods drive them into situations in which she must choose: braid time, save her friends, and lose pieces of her mortal soul, or become slave to the pantheon of her choice.

Deception by an old friend sends Kylie fleeing to her parents’ home, where she hid her son, Riot. She’s too late, the gods found Riot and hold him hostage. Searching for him, Kylie experiences the most devastating betrayal of all.

Kylie faces her worst nightmare: kill a friend and permanently hide Riot, leaving him motherless, or become a slave in exchange for his safety, leaving her soulless and insane.

If only the gods allowed for personal choice.

GUEST POST

When I saw this guest post as one of the option to choose for this tour, I jumped all over it. T J Loveless had me laughing out loud as I read it. Other than the klutzy part, I could totally relate to her. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Where I Fit In

When I began writing Going Thru Hell, I had a little bit of a conundrum. One, I am far from girlie. Oh, granted, I do love a great pair of boots. But put more than a cowboy heel on it and I’ll break a leg. Dresses and I don’t get along. I have make-up, I’m just not sure where. My hair has two styles: Long and in a ponytail, or short and pulled back with a headband. I quit coloring it and let the gray stand out loud and proud. Okay, okay, more like lazy and why bother.

Two, writing about a woman who loves all those things proved to be impossible. I couldn’t relate in any way. My idea of dressing up is a pair of slacks, a long blouse two sizes too big, and sandals that might, or might not, match. I’ve been known to wear shoes of two different shades of brown. I don’t pay enough attention.

Kylie steamrolled her way into my head, pacing, impatient, full of ideas. She wanted at least one fancy outfit, and I spent three days researching Barney’s of New York, and calling all my fashionista girlfriends for advice. But for the most part, I based a good bit of Kylie on my own personality.

I love pajamas and fuzzy slippers. Fun cartoon pajama bottoms make me feel good. I can actually coordinate jeans and t-shirts with one of five pairs of Sketchers.

And after reading tons of books with sophisticated femme fatales, I wanted to do something different. So I created Kylie to be as klutzy as me. The fall out of bed in the morning? Yep, I do it at least once a week. I did once cause severe rugburn on my face after one particular fall and slide on new carpet. I also gave her my addiction to caffeine. Mmm … coffee. Especially a large mocha latte, with an extra espresso shot and a few pumps of raspberry flavoring from The Paramount Café downtown.

I prefer trucks to cars, they seem to last longer. A bit of a confession: I’m on vehicle number fifty-eight. You read that right. I’ve put more vehicles in the ground than I like to admit. Trucks/SUVs seem to last at least a little longer.

Neither Kylie, nor I, have a brain-mouth filter. Often when I speak, whatever is in my head just voices itself.

But there is where it ends. I’m a people person, an extrovert. I laugh often, and don’t brood. I don’t back away from a fight.

I think, as authors, we all interject a bit of ourselves into certain characters. Sometimes the bad guy, most often the good guy. It’s fun, and helps keep us connected to our own imaginations. Not to mention, if you already know the character, it makes it easier to write.

Besides, it’s fun to make family and friends call me up and go, “I remember the time you did that!”

Thank you T J for sharing.

Guest Post and Review – Shooting Stars, A Surah Stormsong Novel by H D Gordon

Shooting Stars by H D Gordon is another hit. I am a huge fan of hers and she never disappoints me. Falling Star, Book II of Surah Stormsong has just been released and I am looking forward to reading more about Surah and H D’s cast of characters.

Be sure read the Guest Post to see what H D has in store for you in the upcoming months.

 photo goodreads-badge-add-38px11_zps1ae6e47f.jpg

“There’s a storm comin.’” Charlie had no idea how bad it would get.

Princess Surah Stormsong had been ordered to take the place of her murdered brother by her father, the King. She was to be the new Keeper. She had no intention of doing so.

She found out the Black Stone was missing and Merin Nightborn, a highborn witch, was dead.

That sealed her fate.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~
H D Gordon can spin a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I had no doubt that Shooting Stars would be no exception. Her writing style is easy to read and captures you early on. The action starts from the first chapter and is non-stop. Her characters come alive on the pages and leave you rooting for them OR wishing they get what they deserve.
I loved the Alexa Montgomery Series and thought would I love this too. H D Gordon’s ability to take me into her fantasies allow me travel to worlds I would never have known otherwise.
I met Surah Stormsong in Redemption and I am excited to get to know her. What is her story? Shooting Stars is a story of fantasy and the paranormal. Good vs Evil. White Magic vs Black Magic.
The POV goes back and forth. I liked it. It allowed me to see it from that characters perspective and to walk in their shoes.
When I think of a Royal’s life, I immediately think of Princess Diana. Her life was out there for all to see. Just imagine how hard it was for her to hide her emotions and do the things expected of someone in her position. Royalty have a role to play and an act to perform, regardless of their feelings and wants. Such is the case with Surah Stormsong.
Surah was strong minded and would do what she felt had to be done, regardless of the consequences. She had done it before and met Alexa. Sometimes circumstances can force us to act and give us responsibilities we don’t want. Life is not fair, so get over it.
yum yum yum Pictures, Images and Photos
“Maybe I should tell Samson to bite you. He likes dark meat, you know.”
When you read the book, you will know why I chose this photo. Samson and Surah have a great sense of humor.
Surah Stormsong – She had a Great Tiger, Samson, as a pet. They talked to each other. I loved the banter  between her and the tiger. No lying between them. She had a gift and could tell when people lied. She could teleport. She was humble and tired of the Princess thing. She never thought herself above the commoners. She never even paid attention to calling them commoners. Was she really all that unprejudiced?  She empathized with people and they loved her for it.
Charlie Redwing- He loved to paint. He was a common sorcerer and bartender. He secretly held a piece of the White Stone. He had courage. He was Black Heart’s younger brother but they had no contact.
Charlie and Princess Surah had met as children only once. She had given him something she should not have and she remembered him well. Something had passed between them, even as children. When she meets him again, she remembers their first meeting. She had never forgotten him. He had never forgotten her. Do you have someone you remember from long ago? Have you ever wondered what could have been?
Charlie and Surah had something between them, but Theo was determined to marry her. He was the Head Hunter and Surah, as Keeper, had to work with him. He had lusted after her for a long time. Just a look from him caused her skin to crawl.
Black Heart, Michael, was Charlie’s brother and the opposite of him. Revenge is a strong, driving emotion. It can take over your life and it drove Michael. Some people twist their views to justify their actions.
QUOTES
 “You still throw like a princess.”
“But I am scared, Sam I am.” Love it. Made me think of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.
“People plotted and deceived, cheated and covered it all with a smiling mask. People were far more dangerous than the Beasts. They were the real kings of the jungle.”
“Love is a chariot with a skeleton key to the chains which hate can wrap around you. To love is to be free.”
“You might as well shoot at the stars. Cause the thing you aim to hit is just too far…may as was well be shooting at the stars.”
Animated Animals. Pictures, Images and Photos   5 STARS – Would Highly Recommend To Others
I received this book from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review. There is no doubt in my mind that I will love to read and review anything H D Gordon writes.
H D Gordon Talks About Her Characters and her Work In Progress
Hi Heather. I am happy to have you making an appearance on my blog today.
First, I would like to thank Sherry for allowing me to come here today! Sherry has been a wonderful supporter to me from the beginning, and I love her oceans for all that she does.
I’m going to talk a little about a few things; characters, upcoming works, the direction I’m heading in, to name a few. My most recent release was the second book in The Surah Stormsong Novels, Falling Stars, and boiled down, it is a fantasy/romance tale about star-crossed lovers and magic. Surah Stormsong and Charlie Redmine are the leading characters of this tale, two people born worlds apart that find themselves forced together through bad circumstances, and falling in love despite the fates being aligned against them.
If you know me, you know I am a fan of strong characters with very real weaknesses, and Surah and Charlie are no exception here. In Shooting Stars you are introduced to the cast, and the shit starts to pile up, leaving them in a very tough situation. In book two, Falling Stars, you really start to get to know Surah and Charlie; their histories, fears and weaknesses. All the while you are watching while their love blossoms into something worth crossing oceans and climbing mountains for. The only real questions are if they can swim hard enough and climb high enough to overcome all that is thrown their way.
I’ve always been a fan of classic star-crossed lover stories, loved everything from Romeo and Juliet to Tristen and Isolde, so when Surah showed up in the last couple Alexa Montgomery books, I knew just what to do with her. My hopes are that after all is said and done with Surah and Charlie, my readers will have grown to love them the same way they love Alexa, Nelly and Kayden.
Now, if you’ve been a constant reader of mine, you know that I do not just write paranormal/fantasy. The fact is, I love all types of literature, and hope to someday have tackled every genre, so that I can fully explore my abilities. With that said, what’s coming next from me will be a mix of things that a reader is sure to find something in that suits their desires.
I’m in the middle of writing my first horror book, which I do not intend to self-publish, but will hopefully be available to you in a timely period. After that I will begin work on the sequel to my paranormal thriller, Joe, which is one of my most anticipated works to date, and following that I will be finishing the last book in The Surah Stormsong Novels, Crossing Stars. So yeah, kicking some ass and taking some names. Or at least, trying to.
In between these works, I am strengthening my short-story writing, and have just finished (in my opinion) my first really successful short story. I’m submitting it to a pretty big contest soon, and my hopes are as high as the sky. It’s some real literary-type shit, so wish me luck. J  Also, I’ve written a song inspired by The Surah Novels, and if you follow me on Facebook and Twitter, I’m sure you’ll get to hear it soon.
To sum it up, let me just say that I know most of my readers would like me to continue to just write paranormal/fantasy, but if you trust me, if you allow me, over the years I plan to take you on some wonderful journeys, and perhaps open doors that have never been known to have existed. Come dance with me, dear readers. I promise not to bump your elbows or step on your toes…too much.
WOW! You are a very busy woman. I’ll be at the party with my dancing shoes on and I know my travels with you will be memorable. Congratulations on all the goodness!
Thanks so much for visiting, Heather, and talking to all my readers and followers.
Review/Guest Post – Shadow of Danger by Kristine Mason
I saw the cover and stopped dead. Awesome. Tells me some bad stuff is coming. The blurb just reeled me in because I was already hooked. I was off and running from the very first page.
Even though this is a trilogy, each book can stand alone. But once you read one, you will want to read them all. Be sure and stop by tomorrow for my Review of Shadow of Perception, a guest post on Kristine’s favorite character and an awesome tour-wide Giveaway.
Add Shudder to Goodreads
Recommended for Adults – violence, strong language and explicit sex scenes.
She awoke, fighting for her life and tears running down her face. She knew the woman was dead. This was not the first time she had felt the evil perpetrated on another as if it were happening to her. It wouldn’t be the last either.
Four nights and four nightmares. Would it ever end?
Roy had four dead women on his hands and needed help. He put in a call to Ian, the head of CORE.  Ian knew John Cain was the man for the job and sent him to Wissota Falls.
Celeste had come home to Wissota Falls to take care of her mother, who was dying of cancer, and never left. Wissota Falls is a small town, where everyone knows everyone’s business. Could a serial killer be walking among them?
Animated Animals. Pictures, Images and Photos   5 STARS – Would Buy It For Them (lol)
My two favorite things – murder and paranormal – and Kristine blended them into an excellent story. This is a long book and I knew I couldn’t read it in one sitting, but I really wanted to. Hmmm. How much longer can I read before I have to get up and clean the kitchen so my hubby doesn’t know I read all day. LOL
Are there two killers? The suspense of finding out who the killer is kept building. I figured it was between three people………Could it be him, yes. Or him, yes. Or him, yes. I know it has to be one of them, I just can’t figure out which one. I love not knowing and it was really hard to keep from skimming over parts to find the answer.
Celeste – she always put herself last. She was the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back. She had a gift, a paranormal gift that some might say was a curse.
John Cain – criminalist and former FBI agent, now working for CORE. John has a lot of personal baggage. I love a tarnished knight. It adds that little extra story line as they find their way out of the mess they are in.
CORE – Criminal Observance Resolution and Evidence. Ian Scott was the creator of the private agency formed to take down the bad guys.
Sherriff Roy Hauserman was like a father to Celeste. He had a healthy respect for her psychic gift. She knew she could always count on him. “Paul Bunyan without the ax and blue ox.”
I loved when Celeste first met John in the diner – such sizzling hot thoughts. As a rule, I don’t care much for sexually explicit books, but this book was so good it didn’t matter to me and only seemed to add to the story.
When Celeste talks about why she started collecting Gnomes, I laughed out loud.
garden gnomes photo: garden gnomes gnome.gifI love Kristine’s ability to add humor to such a heavy and horrendous story. I know I keep saying I loved this and I loved that, but I did. I am so glad that I decided to participate in the tour for Shadow of Perception, Book II. Otherwise, I would have missed finding another fantastic author. Come back tomorrow for my review of Shadow of Perception and a guest post from the author, along with a Giveaway you don’t want to miss.
I received this book as part of a tour for the second book, Shadow of Perception. This is an honest and unbiased review.
Quotes
“If you loose any more weight, you’ll be nothing but walking boobs.”
John    “Please don’t pout.”
Celeste   “I’m not pouting……..Did you feel anything when you touched me at the diner?”
“…when you find that woman, no matter the odds, the end result is well worth it.” “What’s that?” “A woman you’d die for, or die without. Take your pick.”
 “….thinking of puppies, babies and a frickin’ white picket fence.”
Celeste   “Why are you doing this?”
HIM   “Because I can.”
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am participating in the tour for Shadow of Perception by Kristine Mason tomorrow, and she has given me two guest posts to choose from for the tour. SO, lucky you are going to get an insight into why Kristine writes in today’s post.

 How I began writing…

 I began writing twelve years ago after I quit my job to stay home with my newborn. While I was happy to be at home with my son, I have to admit that boredom set it rather quickly. To fill the time, I read a ton of books. And I’m not exaggerating. I would take a big bag to the library and toss in dozens of books, then read them all within a month. I’d become a serious romance junkie. At the time, I didn’t know which authors wrote what, so I had a hard time finding a certain type of book. I was looking for sexy, edgy, gritty suspense. After a while, I decided that if I couldn’t find what I was looking for, then I’d write it. That first book was something I would work on to kill the time. I wrote when I was in the mood and sometimes would go months without even looking at it. That book took me five years to write. Five years! What’s sad is no one will ever see it. But that’s okay. I had accomplished what many people place on their bucket list. I wrote a book.

Seven years ago, after the birth of my third son, I joined a local Romance Writers of America chapter. I attended my first conference, met published authors, editors and agents. That’s when I was bitten by the writing bug. Instead of looking at writing as a hobby, I began looking at it as my unpaid career. I wrote like crazy, found an awesome critique partner and really began learning the craft of writing. The book that took five years to write…I’ve written ten more since then. Again, not all will see the light of day, but those books helped me grow as a writer.

I truly love creating stories and characters. Writing has become my passion and I’m enjoying the ride!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

shadowofperceptionauthorI didn’t pick up my first romance novel until I was in my late twenties. Immediately hooked, I read a bazillion books before deciding to write one of my own. After the birth of my first son I needed something to keep my mind from turning to mush, and Sesame Street wasn’t cutting it. While that first book will never see the light of day, something good had come from writing it. I realized my passion, and had found a career that I love.

When I’m not writing contemporary romances and dark, romantic suspense novels (or reading them!) I’m chasing after my four kids and two neurotic dogs.

Top 10 Guest Post

Jocelyn…

1. Favorite movie/actor/actress?

I’ve never had time to notice. Would much rather be sneaking out for some fun in town than watching a movie.

2. Favorite song/singer?

Anything that gets my heart pumping. That’s my only criteria.

3. Favorite place you would love to visit?

The new evening school Ms. Veilleux started. I hear she’s posted pictures of the most legendary witches of our world along one of the hallways, and that Jameson and I have been included. We are mounted right next to each other.

4. One item you cannot live without?

Air. Just kidding. My white bracelet. My mother gave it to me and told me to never take it off. She then declined to mention that it has my family stone embedded in it. Now who wouldn’t want to know that? But that’s my mother for you. When I first put on the bracelet, it had been itchy but I’ve grown to love it. It’s a part of me now.

5. Who would you like to meet?(dead or alive)

My dad. He passed away when I was an infant so it would be nice to hold a conversation with him…without it going through Maggie Tanner first.

6. Favorite hobby?

Hobby? What’s that? Something you do when you have free time to spare, I’m guessing. My free time is spent healing others. But if I had time for a hobby, I’d probably want to learn more spells to cast against Charlotte Caldwell. Nothing serious, of course, just a wart here, a pimple there. Hehehe.

7. Guilty pleasure?

Jameson. He’s been off limits to me for a long time so you can probably guess why he was the first one to come to mind.

8. Favorite author and/book?

Pretty much any tome from any author in the Thibodeaux warehouses. Each one seems to have a little history about our world, which I’m still fairly new to understanding.

9. Do you collect anything?

Yes, a little residue of mystical ability from every witch who passes on. I have to be in their presence and we need to be touching, but those are just the particulars.

10. Favorite color?

I’m torn between white and black. White is the color of the bracelet holding my family stone, but black helps to keep you concealed during Vire raids.
