A great time was had by all on a quick, overnight trip to Biloxi.

Mr Wonderful wears many hats and working for Pensacola’s Blue Wahoos, the Cincinnati Reds baseball farm team, is one of them.
Last night was employee appreciation night with fun to be had by all.
For your listening enjoyment.
Mr F and I, his trusty production assistant, had a gig at The Florabama, on the Florida/Alabama state line.
Summertime is always a great time for a beach party adventure.
We interviewed Billy Currington, the main attraction for Saturday night’s Shindig On The Sand, just hours before the show.
For a taste, have a listen.

Florabama Mullet Toss
Doing it on the Florida – Alabama line.
Florabama celebrated two fantastic events during the 2014 Mullet Toss.
It was their 50th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of the Mullet Toss.

Mr F and I, his trusty production assistant, had a gig at The Wharf Amphiteather in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The Amphiteather at the Wharf has an awesome country trio for the 2014 Night Train tour – Tyler Farr is the opening act for Florida Georgia Line with Jason Aldean wrapping it up.
I was so excited to hear Florida Georgia Line would be playing. As soon as I heard their song Cruise on the radio during a road trip, I knew it would be a hit. I am unable to share, but be sure to follow the link below and listen to this upbeat song that describes the southern lifestyle for me. I cannot help but sing and dance along with it. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I played it 6 times while I was writing this post. LOL
Cruise by Florida Georgia Line
Lucky me!!!!
Tyler Hubbard (Monroe, Georgia) and Brian Kelley (Ormond Beach, Florida) are the Florida Georgia Line. Looking at their hometowns, you can see where they got their name.
What’s my next adventure?
Stay tuned and I will be happy to tell you about it.

Mr F and I were out playing golf with some friends, just having a little fun.
The day started out in the 40s and ended in the 70s.
I played pretty well, but even a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work!

The 2014 Mardi Gras season has arrived in Mobile, Alabama.
This is how I spent my Valentine’s Day. How about you?

I would like to welcome you to my world, the Sunshine State of Florida.
I looked out my window this morning, hoping for some sunshine and…..
So Mr Wonderful and I went out to shoot the Ice Storm of 2014.
I thought Michigan was the Winter Wonderland, but I guess Mother Nature wants to keep us on our toes.
I don’t think we we will be sailing any time soon.
The flamingo below was relocated to Florida via Cape Cod, Mass and Rochester, New York. She is not a stranger to cold weather, but I don’t think she ever expected this.
The birds won’t be bathing today, but come back tomorrow and it will be in the 40s with sunshine.
The plants don’t know whether it is spring, fall or winter. One day a bloom, the next……
We took a lot more, but I think you get the DRIFT.
Thank you for visiting the Fundins.
Y’all come back now.

Welcome to the Gulf Coast.
The Go Daddy Bowl football game was held in Mobile, Alabama this past week. The teams:
Arkansas State 23 vs Ball State 20
A Mardi Gras Parade was held in their honor.
Boston Red Sox pitcher, Jake Peavy, also put in an appearance and rode in the lead car.
Mr Wonderful, my hubby, is an avid Red Sox fan, so had to arrive early enough to catch Jake Peavy before the parade began.
He was super excited to meet Jake, who signed a couple balls for him and posed for some photos.
It was a little chilly, but who can resist a parade?
There were trains, mermaids and dragons.
Mardi Gras began in Mobile, Alabama in 1703 and is the oldest United States carnival. Mardi Gras season is just around the corner, so come on back. I have a lot more to show you.
Mardi Gras is the biggest party I have ever been to. How about you? What’s the biggest party you ever attended?
I have been to a lot of parades and balls, with plans to be there for many more. I even posed with a dragon once, but that is a story for another day.

I am a sun lover, so when I lived in Rochester, New York for ten years, I had to come up with something that would get me outside.
My love of photography came to my rescue.
It didn’t make me forget about the cold, but it did give me the incentive to venture out. Especially, when there are scenes like the ones below to capture my love of nature.
The ice and snow covers everything in a beautiful white blanket and the world around me seems silent.
The power of the water is mesmerizing.
I feel alone, as if the moment was created just for me.
