Anyone up for a cozy mystery? Watch out for The Cursed Canoe by Frankie Bow.
I love this fun cover and couldn’t say no to it.
MY REVIEW
The Cursed Canoe by Frankie Bow had some good writing and interesting characters, but I wanted more of the mystery and what saved the story for me is that I didn’t guess the ending, which is a huge plus for me, a very good thing.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of The Cursed Canoe by Frankie Bow.

Carbon by Elise Noble is one of those novels I might have missed if I hadn’t won the book, because the cover and blurb do not begin to describe the wonderful romantic suspense and mystery story inside.

Carbon by Elise Noble is a sizzling and creative twist on romantic suspense and forbidden love, that makes me hope that my fantasies and dreams can come true, too, in an adult novel that kept me on my toes and I read in one sitting.

MY REVIEW
Nibble Nibble Crunch shares a glimpse of humanity with characters you will love to hate, yet empathize with when the truth comes out, as they pay their ‘respects’ to the snowman…who will make you think twice about building one of those balls of white stacked on top of each other, with the sticks for arms (all the better to grab you with), the mouth…well, you’ll have to read it to find out what it does with that.

Then, during a sudden blizzard, she swears she hears gunshots. No one stranded in the hut believes her . . . until self-absorbed Ridge Ranger Ben Rogers is found outside in a pool of frozen blood. Meg’s now got to find this killer quickly . . . before cabin fever does them all in!

One Sentence Review – Cookie Cutter by Jo Richardson #JoRichardson
.
Goodreads / Amazon US / Amazon UK / Amazon CA
I won this fabulous looking romance story that more than met my expectations with sparks from the opening pages, and I immediately fell in love with snarky Iris and humorous, teasing Carter as they share a bumpy road and some bruises, traveling to the happy ever after ending.
4 Stars
GOODREADS BLURB
Iris Alden and Carter Blackwood couldn’t be more different. Change-averse Iris likes her life neat and organized, while Carter’s itchy feet means he never stays in the same place for long.
When Carter, a stupidly handsome house flipper, purchases the house across the street from Iris, he has no intention of putting down roots, and she certainly has no time for a showy heartbreaker; she’s far too busy being mom to a stroppy teenager, production line cookie baker for school fundraising events and member of the Spangler Events Committee – as well as trying to rebuild her life after divorce from her ratbag husband.
Before long, though, it’s not simply the house Carter’s rebuilding, but Iris’s heart, too.
Lose yourself in this delightfully funny, sexy romance that is bound to have you rooting for Carter and Iris right from the very start.
