It’s a Dog’s Life
My brother’s dog, Neytiri, enjoyed her visit to sunny Florida.
This is her first romp in a pool and she loved every second of it.
Neytiri is like a grand child. I have all the benefits of spoiling her rotten, then sending her home with her “dad”. 😀
Amazing Before & After ~ Pets
Hi everyone. I know a lot of you are pet lovers, so I thought I would share these amazing before and after shots of my brothers dog, Neytiri.
The past couple of weeks have been hectic but tons of fun.
My mom, brother and his dog came down from Michigan. My sister and brother came over from Alabama.
The party was ON!
Neytiri is a Standard Poodle and Golden Retriever mix. She was born in Florida.
Neytiri arrived with her winter coat. She was only here a couple of days before she was transformed into the sleek beauty below.
What a difference.
I love dogs, but have reached a stage in my life where I just don’t want the responsibility.
How about you? Do you have a pet?
International Space Station Over Pensacola
Check out this awesome pic taken from my backyard on April 3, 2015.
Not only do you see the International Space Station, but you see the full moon too.

Dinner & Shopping at the Beach
Touring the beach and stopping in for dinner and some shopping.
Isn’t he cute?
Group photo after dinner with most of my family.
Beach Touring with the In-Laws in Sunny Florida
Last weekend my in-laws came to visit and we did the beach tour.
Hubby’s mother on Pensacola Beach. Sunny and warm. Lovin’ it!
We had our customary beach dinner at Peg Leg Pete’s.
Caught the sunset in Perdido Key. We had driven around, scouting areas for new sunset pics and found this hidden gem.
A wonderful weekend on the Gulf Coast.
What did you do to enjoy the outdoors?

Friday 56 #38 & Book Beginnings #15 ~ Ashlynn’s Dreams by Julie C Gilbert
Welcome everyone and I hope you are keeping warm. Mr Wonderful and I posed for this photo in front of our warm and cozy cape cod style home in Rochester, New York. We lived there for ten years. Within a month of moving to Rochester in 1998, they had a blizzard that shut down the town and the national guard was called in. I was not a stranger to snow and ice and it was fun…for a while. Then I remembered why I moved away. Our goal was ten years and back to the sunny climate of the south. We made it!
Today, here in Florida, we are having sunny skies and the temp is supposed to go up to the high 60s.
The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda’s Voice.The only rules are to grab a book (any book), turn to page 56 or 56% in your ereader and find any sentence or a few ( no spoilers) that grabs you and post it.
Please join Rose City Reader every Friday to share the first sentence or so of the book you are reading along with you initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires.
Please include the title of the book and the author’s name.

ASHLYNN’S DREAMS by Julie C Gilbert
I love this wonderful cover, don’t you?
“Dr Devya knows! Your momma better leave right quick.”
The synopsis is the first paragraph of the book, so here is an additional little tease.
Then, it turned out to be true. Looking back with wiser eyes now, my family and I concluded that the events leading up to my transformation started the summer I turned nine.
SYNOPSIS
Before she was kidnapped, Jillian Marie Antel Blairington was just an average bright, brave, headstrong child. She was excited for life in a new house with her Momma and new Daddy. Afterward, she’s all that … and so much more. Held in a scientific facility, Jillian discovers her past-a family she never knew and a power she doesn’t understand. With her ability now activated, she can enter and even shape a person’s dreams. Jillian’s been kidnapped, and her Gift has been triggered, so she can locate and save Benjamin Connelly, a brother she never even knew she had. She’d better master this strange ability quickly, though, because her life isn’t the only one at stake. Her babysitter, Danielle Matheson, is being held as a hostage to ensure Jillian’s full cooperation. Slowly, Jillian begins to learn more about her captor and the other genetically altered children held at the facility.
Join Jillian as she tries to survive the training being forced upon her, find her unknown brother, escape with Danielle, and work her way back to a normal life once more.
Do you have a dream?

Friday 56 #37 & BB #14 ~ Road Trip and The Supernatural
The first of the week, we took a road trip over to Biloxi, Mississippi. We had some great weather, in the low 70s, sunny and warm. We love this quaint little town. We took some beautiful photos and did a little gambling. We also, stopped by practice for the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. I love football, so I will get in my last fixes before the season comes to its climax in the Super Bowl. Do you like football or have a favorite college or pro football team?

I have been reading and reading and reading.
I finish one book and immediately begin on another.
I can’t seem to stop myself long enough to write the reviews.

GROWL by Ashley Fontainne
When evil arrived, all of Mississippi heard it.
I love this awesome cover that tells me there is a monster in the swamp.
Who will be its victim?
~~~~~~~~~~~(Book Beginnings)
The synopsis is the first paragraph of the book, so here is an additional little tease.
Then, it turned out to be true. Looking back with wiser eyes now, my family and I concluded that the events leading up to my transformation started the summer I turned nine.
SYNOPSIS
My name is Sheryl Ilene Newcomb. And yes, my initials are S.I.N. A funny little piece of whimsical humor my parents found amusing when I arrived.
Then, it turned out to be true. Looking back with wiser eyes now, my family and I concluded that the events leading up to my transformation started the summer I turned nine. But the day we realized there was a problem, and no turning back, was a week before I started my senior year at Junction City High. The day the fangs and claws appeared and the monster inside of me emerged.
When mutilated corpses appeared near a pile of brush down by Caney Creek, everything changed. Because evil woke up and growled, its ominous rumblings heard by every living thing in Locasia County, Mississippi.
