Hi Everyone. This week has been about family, food and football.

Saturday was a good day in the Fundin household. Michigan beat Ohio State 30 – 24 and Alabama beat Auburn 27 – 24. Go Blue and Roll Tide. Michigan will play Iowa next week and Alabama will play Georgia. I think Michigan will now be #2…and it’s about time! Could we be #1? We shall see.

Hope everyone that celebrates enjoyed their Thanksgiving week.

Hi Everyone. I’m watching the Alabama vs Tennessee game right now. They are not doing so well right now, but they are one of those teams where you never give up. They are in the process of rebuilding their team and I think Milroe is coming along just fine. I watched the Penn State vs Ohio State game because My Michigan Wolverine have to play both of them in the coming weeks. After I saw their piss poor performance, I think Michigan will do just fine. Michigan plays Michigan State tonight and I think we will do just fine there too.

GO BLUE

This week the Pensacola State Fair is in town. We go early, the first day and wander…a lot. Of course, an ice cold beer is in order. We don’t ride and rides, but we check out the chickens and cows and feed the goats, llamas and even a camel. The giraffe wasn’t there this year. 🙁 The giant bull is always here. He is a monster. We always play I Got It

Hi Everyone. I’m creating this post while watching Alabama play Ole Miss. I think they’ll pull this one out. A huge GO BLUE to Michigan for their win, though I didn’t get to watch it. Also, Mr Wonderful is doing freelance for West Florida football, so I will be watching that later tonight, along with…someone else, but I haven’t decided who yet. Hi Everyone. I’m going to start by saying I have read some of the most fabulous books. No, they are not romantic suspense or thrillers of my normal murder and mayhem type, except for D V Berkom’s latest Leina Basso Thriller, Terminal Threat. These are fantasy, paranormal and apocalytpic stories that are off the charts. One is Unleashed, Defiant Dragons, Book I by Aria Glaski. She is an author I have been following for years and this may be favorite book of hers to date. I am so happy it will be a series. Another is the Hell’s Angels Series by Olivia Boothe. I am so happy I signed up for Book Sirens, because I have found and been found by some fabulous authors. Her work is BLOWING MY MIND. The Hell’s Angels series needs to be read in order and if you sign up for her newsletter, you get a prequel that will definitely whet your appetite for more. Oh, and if you are looking for some laughs with your vampires, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has a good supply in Vampire In The Jungle. The reason I am mentioning these specifi books is because they were all 5 STAR reads for me. I find myself so lucky to be pretty darn good at finding those books that fit me.

Also, if you are looking for some great kids books, I recently read two 5 STAR books, Grace and the Golden Rule and Sammy & Scarlett’s Coral Reef Adventure.

Well, now for my TV binging. Does anyone watch Below Deck? They are having a bit of a marathon this weekend and, even though I have seen these episodes over and over, I’m watching them over again. LOL

I don’t have much planned this week. Mr Wonderful has been working the ball game at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. They are in the playoffs, so he will be doing those too. It was so hot, I didn’t get to a game this year. Maybe I’ll make it for a playoff game, seeing it’s beginning to cool down. He’s doing some West Florida University football games and some Pensacola Ice Flyers hockey games.

Wow, I did ramble on a bit. Most of the time I keep things short and sweet(?).

Hi Everyone. Hope you had a good week. I had a great reading week, making it through ten books. I read and read and read until my eyes crossed. I did get some reviews written and will spend some time next week catching up. I now have my review list under ten books and working on November. I’m still doing a lot of tours. I just can’t help myself. Other than that, it has been a quiet week. The weather seems to have cooled off. I haven’t seen the nineties for a couple of days now. R I P Jimmy Buffett

Ya can’t go into a bar on the Gulf Coast without hearing a Jimmy Buffett song. We have seen him numerous times and it was always a pleasure to sing along and share the love. I love his passion for the Gulf Coast and conservation. He will be missed.

Hi Everyone. It’s been a pretty quiet week. We had anticipated some fallout from Hurricane Idalia, so we burnt the ‘twig’ pile and Mr Wonderful got the generator going. It’s best to be prepared. We are always stocked up on some essentials, with a supple of soup for me and canned ravioli with vienna sausages (ew) for Mr Wonderful. Our thought go out to those who were in Idalia’s path. It could have been us, though nothing happened here. I had not added water to the pool, or worried about cleaning it, because I figured I would have to do that after the story. I ended up adding water and it was a quick cleanup because it missed us.

We had a friend from Atlanta stop by…and a friend here in Pensacola that we haven’t seen in a while.. I am quite the loner, nowadays, but it was good to see them and I had a great time visiting.

The college football season is starting off with a rousing blowout win for my Wolverine.

Hi Everyone. This has been a quiet week, with Mr Wonderful doing some freelance, me reading and reading and reading, and binging on more Lucifer. I see some great movies coming up once I have finished the Lucifer series. I love Tom Ellis as Lucifer. All I have to do is look at his face and it puts a smile on mine.
