I have been working on the yard all week and found this pretty at my favorite ‘hardware’ store. It is named after what it looks like – a Red Shrimp plant. Living on the Gulf Coast, how could I not add one of these to my garden collection? I had never seen or heard of it before and I love it.

This is a small stone, less than 2″, I found while beachcombing at Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I thought it looked like a whale and I love it, so I brought it home and added it to my treasures on the mantle.

I have been working in the yard, messing with the pool, doing spring cleaning, blogging and reading…not necessarily in that order.
