I have tried to come up with a way to make things simpler for myself when it comes to choosing my next novel to share. This is what I have come up with.

I am starting with the first author on *this* bookshelf and…

now I am moving on to Jeffrey Archer and Shall We Tell the President?

  1. I like the cover. I’d probably read the blurb before nabbing it though. I’ve read other books by him but not this one. Intrigued already:)
How did ya’ll do in Biloxi? Wish I could have went!

    • A road trip is always a good thing. 🙂 My copy of the book is from 1977. LOL

    • I love mysteries and have family that live in South Dakota, though I have never been there. Thanks for dropping in, Kathy.

  2. I’m not sure I’ve read any Jeffrey Archer though he’s been on my TBR for quite some time. This does sound like an interesting one. I haven’t read political intrigue in awhile but it sounds fun!

    • I enjoy political intrigue and wonder how much is going on in real life that we don’t know about. Truth can be stranger than fiction. lol Have a wonderful weekend, Katherine.

  3. Of course I want to read a book about the first woman US President. But I’m in a contrary mood today, and wonder if the author titled it that way because the Pres was a woman. Would the staff, security etc have even considered that question if the President was a man?

    • Hmmm. I didn’t really think of it that way. I figured they were trying to give her plausible deniability. 🙂 Thanks for popping in, LuAnn. Happy reading.

  4. I’ve never read this author before, but then again, I don’t read much political fiction. Hope you love it though!
    Happy weekend!
