I don’t know much about birds. Interesting book.
Me either, but I love to sit on the patio in the early morning hours and listen to them as they greet the morning. Very calm and peaceful.
My mom use to have a cockatiel and it was so darn smart. It would talk, dance, make the noise of clicking it’s fingers and it was just awesome. It also learned to cuss which she did not want it to do but a friend gave her this gag gift for if anyone calls like a solicitor and you would hit one of the buttons and it would say things so they may not call back. She didn’t realize, the bird too would pick up on it. LOL
That’s hilarious. I have never had a bird, but I know people that have and they sure did enjoy them.
My cockatiel lived to be almost 25 years old. Miss that bird:)
Hope you hold tight to the wonderful memories. It’s always sad when a pet passes on. 25 is a long time.
