Hey, I tried to save you from this marital division with my A’s, but….
This could get ugly.
LOL. Yeah for the Tigers. Boston put up the good fight, but the Tigers prevailed in the first game 1-0. The saga continues….
Well, Sherry, imagine how I feel this weekend. My beloved Yankees never had a chance this year, and although I live in the Boston area, I have never been a Red Sox fan and have often found lots of reasons to dislike them. Hence, I am rooting LIKE MAD for the Detroit Tigers. Hey, Detroit needs something to cheer about.
But THEN on Sunday, what’s happening? The NE Patriots play the New Orleans Saints. Now, I’ve never been a big football fan, but during my 9 years in New Orleans I accumulated MANY rabid Saints fans. So, what’s a grrrl to do? 🙂 root for Drew Brees and the Saints … or should I stick with that good ol N’awlins boy, Peyton Manning, and root for the [gasp] Denver Broncos???
I know very well the Yankees – Red Sox rivalry. But when they play the Tigers, the Sox have to take the back seat. lol Detroit can really use something good.
Sunday? Saints all the way for me. I agree that Peyton is an outstanding athlete that I am sure will continue to astound and amaze, but since I moved from Michigan to the South, I have chosen to be a Saints fan, that is, as long as they don’t play the Lions!
Well, now we have to worry about the Red Socks!
