I have been following Jeff Gordon and his Nascar career since the beginning.
He brought Nascar to the masses and changed the sport forever.
He did amazing things to get in the chase at Homestead and even though he didn’t win, he showed himself as a true champion.
As you can see, I couldn’t be there, so I took these photographs of my TV. 😆
He made his 750th consecutive start! How impressive is that?
As the race began, I was on my feet like the thousands that were present at the track.
I couldn’t help but scream and yell at the TV as he struggled to stay at the head of the pack.
Jeff’s pit crew did an excellent job!
As Jeff’s career was coming to a close, I had a decision to make.
Who will be my next driver????????
Kyle Busch has been a driver I have loved to hate and his personality won me over.
He had made a come back after missing the first eleven races because of a broken foot and leg from an Xfinity race in the season opening at Daytona.
What a SURPRISE when Kyle won!
The future is at hand and I am ready.
I have also LOVED Jeff Gordon his entire career. My cat is even named after him. Though personality wise, my cat should have been named Kevin Harvick. It is so great to come across another Jeff Gordon fan. I have seen him race at Darlington several times, and he’s much more charming and cute in person. You go girl!
I totally agree with you Audrey. Jeff is a definite cutie. Funny about your cat. I love it. I have seen him at Talladega a few times and so wanted to catch him one more time, but it just didn’t happen. Happy racinng!
I hope you smiled through the tears, Sherry:)
Even though he didn’t win, he put on a great show! Still love him and will miss him.
