I have created a Monday Mini post for two reasons: (1) it is always difficult for me to have a post ready for Monday and (2) since I had to move my blog I am having difficulty catching up on reviews for all the books I want to share. So, I hope you enjoy these short, but sweet, reviews.
I got the idea for this from Laura at fuonlyknew. Thanks Laura.

“Don’t read in the dark.”
Brylee’s dad had lost his job in California, so they moved into The Brown House In New Jersey. Brylee was told the house was haunted and people died there. She didn’t believe in ghosts, but she was curious why there was one door that had no key and it was never opened. Was she the only one that felt the desire to know why?
3 STARS – Would Recommend To Others
The paranormal holds a fascination for me and I love to read about ghosts and things that go bump in the night. The book includes some teenage angst about school, moving and making new friends, but is mainly a ghost story of a cursed family. But, be careful, one wrong step could create more problems than it solves. Made me think of Ghost Whisperer, only the main character is a teenager. A great young adult ghost story of curses, revenge, love and sacrifice. I enjoyed the story and will be looking for Book II. I would like to know more of Brylee’s story. I won the signed paperback from a giveaway on tiffanylovesbooks. A big thank you to Tiffany and Christy.

Me Too. Christy tells a good one. ^_^
Ooh, love the cover.
Me too. The spookiness caught my eye first. There’s something about the purple that makes it seem even spookiers. lol
Great review. The Brown House sounds interesting.
It left me wanting more. I will be on the lookout for Book II. Thanks Janna.
Love the cover art. Creepy! I watched the trailer too. Want to read this one.
I so agree about the cover. They did a great job and that alone made me want to read the book. ^_^ I love those pesky ghosts.
