Hi Everyone. I hope you had a good week. I finally took down all the Christmas stuff, except the tree. We hung a bunch of Mardi Gras beads on it, so it will stay up for a while longer, seeing Mardi Gras is in February. I have been doing a lot of reading and am determined to catch up on the last three reviews I need to write. I haven’t been in the blogging mood a lot, so I haven’t visited many of you the past couple of weeks. I aim to do better. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for Netflix. I binged on Dexter last night. Tonight my Lions play Washington, so I’ll be watching that. Right now, I am watching Kansas City vs Texans and rooting for Mahomes. Have a good week.

I love your idea for decorating your tree for Mardi Gras! We kept our tree up all year one year, decorating it for various holidays and seasons. My daughter and I had fun making decorations for the tree. Mine is still up with all the Christmas decorations. I really need to get motivated to take it down.

A funny thing happened when I opened your blog. The white part of the page remained black for about a minute so I could tell there were words on the page but couldn’t read them. I wondered who I was going to manage when the white showed up. Weird. Mardi Gras beads on a Christmas tree…that sounds festive!
