I don’t know about you, but I forgot all about Read Across America Day. But, Mr Wonderful works for PBS, so here is my late tribute to The Cat In The Hat.
Hi all. Hope everyone had a great week. The weather has been great. A lot of sun and a little rain, just what the plants and lawn desire. I’ve done some work outdoors, cleaning up the yard and making sure the pool is ready to go.Got in for the first time Wednesday. The temp is in the low 70s, a bit brisk and it does get the blood flowing. Makes me feel so alive, I love it. How has the weather been in your neck of the woods?

See anything you like? Did you grab a book that spoke to you?

Our weather? A foot of snow outside my door which I had to shift yesterday as I’m expecting a few Amazon packages, freezing cold wins that are gusting…it even feels cold inside the house! I wish these microwave slippers would hurry up! I’m sick of the cold weather and would love to see some sun! Oh I love the photos!
I feel for you. I do remember snowblowing the driveway two or three times in one day and I sure do not miss it, though it can be very beautiful. Spring is around the corner, so hang in there.
I’m a bit jealous you can actually go in the pool already. As you know, the ground is covered in snow here – and it only arrived on Thursday. Just when I felt like it would be nice with some longer, lighter, warmer days 😀
Your new books look really good, and I hope you’ll enjoy them.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Spring is coming…Time to curl up with a good book. 🙂 I remember when I first moved to Rochester New York in 1998. Wasn’t there a week and had a blizzard, everything shut down and not allowing anyone off the expressway.
I’m waiting on a part for my pool so it’s not ready yet. Stocking up on supplies and will work on it as soon as the part gets here. A little brisk??? Yep, right! LOL
Still a bit chilly, but the sun is out and it warms me right up.
The books are all new to me there! happy reading!
Glad to share something new. Have a great day.
The pool is open? Okay I’m officially jealous. At least the sun is out today ha ha! Nice Cat in the Hat outfit BTW!!
Death by Honeymoon looks great.
Our weather hasn’t been very good, but I’m hoping a move to a better climate is in our near future. Love the Cat in the Hat pic! Have a great week!
Ensaadi and Brink of Down seem like they would be good reads and I’ve never heard of them before. It’s still been a bit of a chill here, I’m ready to wear sandals. Have a great week!
Love your Cat in the Hat tribute. I was bummed because my son was supposed to celebrate Read Across American Day this past Friday and then that crazy wind storm closed all of the schools. I’m really hoping they belatedly celebrate today when he goes back to class.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Got to love having some sun! Happy reading!
I’d love a pool. Our weather is 30 degrees and snowing today.
My kids love Read Across America. Their school does some fun activities for the week.
Hope you had a great week!
Oh what fun photos. The weather there sounds so nice. 70s would be amazing. We’ve been doing 60s then 30s. Then 20s. Snow in the forecast for tomorrow. lol March has been interesting.
