Hi Everyone. I love the heat and the sun, but this year seems to be the most intense year I have ever seen. Heat advisories and temperatures over 90 degrees every day, with a heat index of over 100. I don’t care where you live, 100 degrees is hot! Then we have the humidity, making it feel like a sauna and hard to breathe. Thank goodness for the pool. I wouldn’t even stop outside if I didn’t have one. Can’t say I am getting much yardwork done and with all the rain we have had those darn weeds are having a party. LOL
Hope you had a good week and another coming up.
Stay safe.

I’ve had to resort to rising early to mow or do yardwork and it is still hot and humid some. We haven’t really gotten much rain but this week is to be cooler and rainier. The new sod is doing well so I’m doing less watering.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
We are polar opposites when it comes to heat. I would rather have some snow. I try to stay inside as much as possible when it gets really hot here.
Yeah, the heat has been insane this year especially since it came early and has stuck around. I haven’t been as diligent about yardwork, either.
Have a good week, Sherry!
That would be too hot for me! Stay cool (if you can). I’d be living in the pool. 🙂 lol
All my plants are barely hanging on with this heat! We’re at 100 or over, too, and any flowers that dare to bloom just shrivel up. I don’t want to go outside at all. It was even hot in Yosemite and the place we stayed at didn’t have air conditioning! Yikes! Stay cool, Sherry!
We are walking just after the sun comes up. And the air is running all night because it doesn’t go down below 80 degrees. Sigh.
We are having lots of rain here, too. Fortunately, it’s not all coming in one day!
Ughhh that’s too hot for me, though it’s the humidity that is the worst.
Stay cool, wishing you a great reading week
Same here — either way too hot to be outside or way too rainy. Ugh.
I can so relate with the heat and humidity. It’s miserable! We went to the pol at our amenities center yesterday but made sure to go early before the worst of the heat. By 10:45 I was done! Already so hot. Ugh.
Yes, humidity makes it so much worse. When I was in Colorado 100° felt like 85°. We’ve been having unseasonably cool weather here in the Northeast 60s during the day and 50s at night. It’s supposed to warm up this week. 🌞
I hope the weather cools down for you. Have a wonderful week. 🙂
Yikes. We go from unseasonable hot with ungodly temps or go the opposite with unseasonable cool temps. But, I prefer all of it over winter.
Hope your week is cooler.
