LATEST HAPPENINGS
Hello everyone. Glad to see you stopping in. As I write this, it is raining. It has been super sunny and 90 degrees, so I am happy to see it. The grass was getting so dry it started to crunch under my feet. I haven’t had to worry about watering, until last week. Even the first day of watering, the rain paid a quick visit. Isn’t that how it goes? But, it’s all good. Maybe this will wash out some of the pollen that seems to be playing havoc with my allergies. I haven’t been able to work in the yard without the help of Mr Wonderful, so it is in definite need of clean up. I am going to hire someone to come by and whip the yard in shape, maybe do a couple of projects. I am also going to, for the first time ever, have someone come by and do some house cleaning. Mr Wonderful does a good job, but I don’t think it’s fair, with him working a full time job and two freelance jobs, to have to do so much. It won’t cost that much and it will be a relief to have it done. I have caught up on most of my reviews for the books I have read. Just have two left right now. I have been reading books on my kindle that are documents, trying to clean them off. Some are pretty old and I think there will be some DNFs, just because I have so many books I want to read I will never have time to read them all. I need to be immortal to do everything I want to do. LOL Have a super week!

I know it must drive you crazy to not be able to get out and work in the yard, Sherry. Probably not so much with the house cleaning though. LOL I miss you guys and will try to find time to pop over and visit once my schedule gets better.
I hope you can find someone who’s good at the yard and house cleaning!
i belong to a neighborhood group’s website called nextdoor. there are a couple of recommendations i will be checking out in the next day or two.
I sometimes feel the same way- need to be immortal to have time for everything! So true lol. And glad you got some rain for the grass’s sake. We’ve had so much rain lately, but today it’s gorgeous and sunny, but only 67.
Anyway hope you have a great week!
glad you are having a chance to enjoy the outdoors. immortality does have a lot of pluses. lol
My dream is to have someone clean my bathroom and kitchen. I hate doing those rooms. They are the most work. I, like you, will need to live forever to read all the books I have as well.
i hate cleaning the bath and shower. it’s so awkward and i am sure they will do a great job. i’ll still keep adding those books. lol
I would Definitely pay someone to do my housework if it was an option.
Even an immortal would never run out of things to read 😉
Have a great reading week
LOL. So true.
It’s been raining here ALL the time, so we must be getting all your rain. I think it makes sense to have someone come clean your house—I don’t even have as good of an excuse as you do, and I have someone come every other week.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Every other week would be the heavy lifting. I used to be a neat freak, but Mr Wonderful has taught me there are more fun things in life. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
What a good feeling it is to be caught up. Hope this week goes well too. Enjoy your latest reads.
thanks you too
Ah, a vampire to be immortal…but you’d need a ring to venture out in the sun..unless you did the landscape at night. lol Hopefully you will find someone.
oh no i forgot about that and i am a sun whorshipper
All book readers need to be immortal as there will always be more books that time. 🙁 🙂
so true
Yeah either immortal or very disciplined and organized. Immortal sounds more fun though. I got out this morning to do yardwork as it finally cooled off from the 90s last week. I also tackled some cleaning. Good luck – I haven’t used Nextdoor for that but we have it.
Enjoy your reads!
Here is my Sunday Post
nicely said LOL

I’ve often thought that being a vampire would be great for my reading as I can finally tame the tbr if I’m immortal and don’t need to sleep! The blood thing is a bit offputting though!
