As I rang out the 2020, my thoughts went back in time. Back to the wedding of my best friend, Maria, who had Ava Maria sung at her wedding. She never met a stranger. She was a very special person and is sorely missed. May she rest in peace.

Santana was an ear opener for me and made me appreciate the depth of music so much more than I had used to…or maybe that was the Marijuana I was smoking. Santana was the first concert I ever went to and did partake of the joints that were being passed around. Someone would light it and it would be passed from person to person, row to row, until another one came around. I was quite the novice and could hardly walk out when it was over. LOL

I love this song and I used to belt it out at The Bayhouse Pub in Daphne, Alabama. My sister and I would get up and sing Karaoke, laughing and dancing all around the place. I love road trips and after I hooked up with Mr Wonderful, I was able to sleep while he drove. LOL

I was very fortunate to be able to see her live and go backstage for an autograph and photos. Hmmmm…I wonder where the photos are now. Have to ask Mr Wonderful, seeing he is the master of our digital archive.
