Hello everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

My post this week will be a short one. We made a road trip to Birmingham, Alabama. It is my mother in law’s 80th birthday. A milestone that we wanted to share with her. Mr Wonderful’s brother, wife and one of the daughters came in for the occasion. We met up with other family members and had a wonderful meal, drinks and birthday cake. MMMMMM

It seems like spring is in the air. I know I mentioned the azaleas blooming last week, but now they are out in all their glory. Gorgeous, but I wonder what that means when (?) the cold hits.

As we say goodbye to January, we are getting ready for Mardi Gras!

Hello everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It is still warm here, but we are having severe thunderstorms rolling through the area. Thank goodness we live below I10, the worst of it usually goes around us. It seems like spring. The azaleas are blooming and the leaves are falling from the oaks. Is everyone else having unseasonably warm weather?

I’ve had a great week, doing some blog catch up, cleaning the pool and hanging with the family. Our weather has been fabulous. Today it was in the 70s and the sun is shining brightly. I am loving it! I hope you are having some good weather in your neck of the woods.

I have read some great books, worked on some reviews, but keep forgetting to do my challenge wrapups and figure out which ones I will be doing this year.

Hello fellow bloggers. Hope you had a great week and a great holiday. This is my first Sunday since mid December and I am not even going to try and update you on what I have been up to. We will just pick it up from here.

It’s hard to get back into the swing of things. I had blogged ahead, so didn’t have to do much for the past three weeks, but drop in and try to comment, tweet…

I will be updating and sharing my reading challenges soon. I completed them all for 2016 and look forward to doing them again this year. What challenges do you do? I’ll stop by and check them out.

One of my main goals for the new year is to get my blogging more organized. I read a lot, but it is hard to get the reviews written. I plan on doing back reviews, but from here on out I am determined to write them as soon as I have finished the book…or as close to that if I can. I do a lot of road trips and read a lot on the road, so those usually get lost somewhere. I write notes on whatever is at head, whether it’s a gas receipt, a napkin…At least I went through and rated most of them for last year, because they deserve some attention!!! I have always tried to post everything on my blog, but this year I think I will be doing some on Amazon, Goodreads, LibraryThing…

Do you have the same problem…can’t fit them all in? What do you do?

Hello fellow bloggers. Another week has come and gone. The fall weather has arrived, with cool nights and warm days. It still got in the 80s and the sun is shining brightly. I can’t remember the last time it rained. Everything is dry and going dormant for the winter. I’ve been doing fall cleanup and I still need to get some more mulch and finish up protecting the plants for the winter. The garage is looking better, but I have to finish that up. I’ve been doing a lot of blogging, trying to get most of my posts done for the rest of the year. Mr Wonderful has a lot of time off the last six weeks of the year and I want to enjoy my time with him without the pressure of having to post. There are always those last minute tour giveaways I want to share, but they are quick to do seeing a lot of the tours now do HTML. I have been and will be posting more reviews from my backlog, along with my recent reads. Will I ever catch up? I doubt it. I have a hard time saying no to so many good looking books.
