I don’t see the book jacket for my 1st edition hardback published in 2000. This one is close, except the dot is red, the background whiter and a novel is encased in shadow after Omerta.
My 56
The first bullet hit the Don square in the forehead. The second bullet tore out his throat. His blood spurted all over the sidewalk, showering yellow sunlight with pink drops.
