Hi Everyone. I hope you had a good week. I finally took down all the Christmas stuff, except the tree. We hung a bunch of Mardi Gras beads on it, so it will stay up for a while longer, seeing Mardi Gras is in February. I have been doing a lot of reading and am determined to catch up on the last three reviews I need to write. I haven’t been in the blogging mood a lot, so I haven’t visited many of you the past couple of weeks. I aim to do better. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for Netflix. I binged on Dexter last night. Tonight my Lions play Washington, so I’ll be watching that. Right now, I am watching Kansas City vs Texans and rooting for Mahomes. Have a good week.

Hi Everyone. Eric had his total hip replacement done on Tuesday, and I am shocked. He was up and walking the same day. Today I saw him walking without the walker or his walking stick, but I urge him not to do that yet. We don’t want any falls. The hardest part is getting up and down. I am so surprised how well it is going. He took this video on Wednesday, the day after his surgery. I tried to embed a fun video clip he made, but it didn’t work, so here is the link on Facebook.

Hi Everyone. Another slow week, which I love. It has started to cool down at night, so I guess you could say that fall is here. I did get in the pool and it was in the low 80’s. It’s cooling down rapidly. We need some work done on it, but I’ve been waiting for the season to turn. Hopefully it will be quick and painless. LOL Nothing about having work done on the pool is painless. It’s a boat – break out another thousand. I have been putting it off, so it is no surprise. I need to get into the dentist this week. I broke a tooth when I was in the hospital. The pain was so intense and I was gritting my teeth, it broke. It doesn’t hurt, but the year is counting down and Mr Wonderful *my hubby) and I both want to get all our medical procedures done this year. He’s getting his hip replaced come the 22nd. I have my fingers crossed that all goes easy for him. Then I have to have another surgery. I will admit I am concerned. It didn’t go so well the first time. I don’t know if I’m going to meet my Goodreads challenge. I went two and a half months without picking up a book or my Kindle, so I may come up short.

Anyway, have a super week.
