Hi Everyone. Mr Wonderful has done such a fabulous job on keeping the pool sparkly clean. Last Sunday was my first time in the pool this year. I hesitated because of my surgery. I had a perforated colon and have an ostomy bag. I plan on having it reversed once I regain my strength and make sure I am in good health…probably October or thereabouts.

Sherry’s Shelves 5.26 – 6.1.24 #weeklyupdate

Hi Everyone. Hope you all had a good week and are looking forward to next week. I am feeling pretty good. Rehab is going so well, I have been discharged from both Occupational and Physical Therapy. It’s great that they came to the house, instead of me having to go to them. That would have been a super hassle. I will continue to do all the exercises and walking that I was doing when they came, but this time it will be up to me…and Eric. I am still having the nurse come once a week. Have you ever tried to gain weight? I have put on four pounds in the last month, but that is not enough. I had lost over twenty pounds and was on a liquid diet for so long, my tummy doesn’t have enough room for a normal amount of food. I eat six small meals and snacks a day, and drink two to three protein drinks. Dehydration is always an issue because I get so caught up in a book or blogging, I forget to get my sixty four ounces of liquid each day. If I drink at the the wrong time, then I’m not hungry.

Well, enough about me. What have you been up to? Any plans for something special this coming week? Read any good books? Thanks for dropping in. It is always nice to hear from you. 🙂

Hi Everyone. We’ve has some pretty wicked storms coming through the Florida Panhandle. How has your weather been? It sure does make everything sprout and I do love that. I haven’t given the pool a try…yet, but I see it coming. I want to feel the sun on my skin and smell the chlorine. LOL Says summer to me. Have a super week.

Hi Everyone and Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there. It’s a beautiful day. I am back from taking two and half months off of blogging. I didn’t even pick up a book to read for 70 days. I went into the Emergency Room in early February and didn’t get out until the 16th of April. It was days of Hell. At times I was wondering if I was going to make it. One step forward and three steps back totally wore me out. I lost weight and am having trouble putting it back on. I may go in depth and share some pics later, but for now….

Hi Everyone. Well, the big news is…..the Michigan Wolverines are National Champions. I have been very impressed with this football team. I felt they were the complete package, from beginning to end. The functioned as a unit, and it showed. They had class and showed sportsmanship, whether on the field or off.

Hi Everyone. This week has been about family, food and football.

Saturday was a good day in the Fundin household. Michigan beat Ohio State 30 – 24 and Alabama beat Auburn 27 – 24. Go Blue and Roll Tide. Michigan will play Iowa next week and Alabama will play Georgia. I think Michigan will now be #2…and it’s about time! Could we be #1? We shall see.

Hope everyone that celebrates enjoyed their Thanksgiving week.
