Whale Stone

This is a small stone, less than 2″, I found while beachcombing at Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I thought it looked like a whale and I love it, so I brought it home and added it to my treasures on the mantle.

I have been working on the yard all week and found this pretty at my favorite ‘hardware’ store. It is named after what it looks like.

I can’t really decide what I see. There is wispy smoke rising inside the bubble. The softness and curves make me think it is very sensual. Could that be a pair of legs with pink socks straddling…something? 😳
