Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page.
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Blackjack: The Chronicles of Vincent Black, Vampire Assassin
by
Kristopher Norris
MY TEASE
I pretended to watch one of the girls on stage but truthfully my eyes were scanning the
room, even though I didn’t know what I was looking for.
Maybe it would be easy and the vampires will be wearing tuxedos and big black capes like
Bela Lugosi did in Dracula, wouldn’t that be nice?

Oh great snippet! I’m reading Midnight Series by Lara Adrian! Lots of love, Emily
I shall have to check that out. I love learning about new authors. Thanks Emily
I’m currently reading Special Rewards by M.L. Ryan.
“My real name, Wyxinorolyxazam, is quite long. If one adds the proper royal prefix of King Consort, it becomes rather a mouthful. As a courtesy to you, our first human visitor, I chose a human name.”
For some reason that title rings a bell. Glad he chose a real name. I don’t think I could figure out how to pronounce that. ^_^
Stromsoe was in high school when he met the boy would someday murder his wife and son.
Cedros could feel his briefly promising life caving in around him.

Eek, it’s Wednesday, I’m a day late. That’s the story of my life these days, a day late and several dollars short. 🙂
No problem Susan. I am glad to hear from you any time. ^_^ I have read numerous books of Parker’s but that one doesn’t sound familiar. Will have to check it out.
