MY TEASE
(1% on Kindle)
My sister killed herself, and I will for ever carry the weight of it being partly my fault. I didn’t hand her a weapon, but I looked the other way.
I didn’t just look the other way; I envied her lifestyle. If given the chance, I would have gladly become her: carefree, irresponsible, and living every moment ttothe fullest. Of course, back then we had no way of knowing what harm could come from a bit of fun It was simply a few drinks and a cigarette.
SYNOPSIS
CAN LOVE SAVE A SISTER FROM SELF-DESTRUCTION?
From the USA Today Bestselling Author of Spare Change comes the heartwarming story Blueberry Hill, a Sister’s Story.
Based on the realities of her own family, Crosby calls this a memoir of sorts. Traveling back to a time when the sisters were young enough to feel invincible and foolish enough to believe it would last forever, Crosby has bared her soul in a story of regrettable decisions and inevitable outcomes.

So very tragic and sad. Bet it makes for a great story though.
Yes it is, on both accounts. Makes me think of my older sister. Some parts are kinda tough to get through.
I know. She’s a friggin master. 🙂
Anna from Shout with Emaginette
That’s a fact! Thanks for shouting out Anna. ^_^
Such a sad teaser. I hope you enjoy the book
Yes, it is. The book is based on real life and reads that way.
Sounds so sad. The fact that it is based on her own life story makes it even sadder. It must be so painful for her
I know. It is sad to read it too. I have to be in the right mood for a book like this. Sometimes they strike too close to home.
Feeling like that must be awful, it would haunt her all the time!
Thanks for the visit.
I think it would be hard to move on, but us humans are a resilient lot. Thanks for stopping in Udita.
I’m almost done reading this. Bette wrung my heart out! Excellent choice Sherry!
Mine too. Made me think of Nancy……
