Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page.
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
END OF ENEMIES by Grant Blackwood
I saw the tag line from Clive Cussler and knew I had to read this.
I love conspiracies and intrigue.
Throw in an adventure that could rival the likes of Clive Cussler and I have to find out for myself.
MY TEASE
(11% on Kindle)
It could have been much worse.
If the plane had been at altitude, that much explosive would have been overkill.
The pilot had done a hell of a job.
SYNOPSIS
Veteran covert agent Briggs Tanner leaps into action when a man is brutally assassinated in front of him. His search will lead him from the depths of the Pacific Ocean, through the bullet-riddled back alleys of Beirut, to a deadly secret buried since World War II-and only Tanner can keep it from falling into the wrong hands…

That doesn’t sound good (the situation, not the book). Looks like a good thriller…
I’m still early in the book and learning about the characters, but this is a genre I love and I think the book will be a great read. “fingers crossed” LOL
It sounds fast paced – you chose a good teaser. I don’t mind an action/thriller now and then, so I’d have a look at this one. Thanks for stopping by Write Note Reviews.
I just happened to be on that page – lucky to have such a good teaser staring me in the face. Thanks for stopping by, Monique.
Sounds like a riveting plot. I’d enjoy this book (and so would my husband).
My Tuesday post features THE LITTLEST COWBOY.
I love suspense and thrillers with a lot of action. I’m thinking this will be one of those books. Thanks for dropping in, Sandra.
This sounds like a thrilling thriller – love the teaser and I certainly wouldn’t want to be on that plane! Thanks for visiting my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/10/21/teaser-tuesday-october-21/
Me either. lol thanks for stopping in, cleo.
I love a good thriller.
I have two teasers today from Veronica Roth’s YA dystopian “Divergent” series:

I have heard of the books, but not read them…yet. I am sure, somewhere down the line I will read them. Just like the Hunger Games. I may be one of the few left on the planet that haven’t read those. LOL I hope you are enjoying them.
Well, I wonder what a good job by the pilot looked like and did he survive.
It’s early in the book, so I will tell you. He……NOT. I like when he starts out and I am guessing wrong. LOL
It sounds like the pilot diverted disaster! Exciting teaser!
He was a hero. Fast thinking and keeping a level head in such dire circumstances sure wouldn’t be easy. Nice to see you, Freda.
This sounds like a good premise for a thriller. This author is new to me. I’ll make a note of him. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
My pleasure and thanks for stopping in to check out Grant Blackwood’s, End of Enemies. Happy reading.
Did the pilot save the day or blow up the plane? Sounds intriguing!
It’s very early in the book, so I could tell you, but…..LOL
I fly quite a lot, so I try never to read anything with planes crashing. It doesn’t help that my dad is big fan of those Crash site Investigation-type shows, so I’m constantly seeing planes crash! But I like the cock-sure tone of the character! Thanks for dropping by and sorry for such a late visit back! Have a great week!

I have never been comfortable flying and probably never will be, but to get from A to B as quick as possible, it’s the only way. Happy to see you dropping in, Juli.
Sounds like the pilot is awesome!! Great tease.
Thanx for visiting my TT

Thanks Naomi and happy reading.
