Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of adailyrhythm.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following: Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

SYNOPSIS
Margaritaville may not appear on a map, but it does exist–at least in the brilliantly creative, sometimes slightly skewed imagination of Jimmy Buffett. Tales from Margaritaville is a collection of short stories (some purely fiction, some based in truth) so vividly packed with restless dreamers, wild wanderers, and pure gypsy souls that just reading it is a wild adventure. Travel along with a cowboy named Tully Mars, as he heads from Heartache, Wyoming, to Graceland, and relive the autobiographical odyssey of a third-generation sailor and first-rate musical outlaw. With unforgettable stories that present the true roamer’s twin loves–the sea and the road–Tales from Margaritaville is one “smooth sailing book of infinite imagination” (Chicago Sun-Times).
Looks like a fun book!
This week mine is from a cozy mystery: http://pdworkman.com/excerpt-from-panthers-play-for-keeps-books-teasertuesday-amereading-mystery/
I love anything Jimmy Buffett!
Although I’d listened to Jimmy Buffett through high school, I was thoroughly indoctrinated into parrot head culture (?) when I lived in Mexico on a sailboat. Yachties (how us boat people referred to ourselves) would exchange cassettes (I know, I’m dating myself) and most of them were of the Buffett persuasion. Even now, every time I hear one of his songs, I’m back on the boat, sipping a cocktail in the hammock out on deck…Ahhhh….
My grandma loves parrots and this teaser felt quite nostalgic. This looks like a fun autobiographical odyssey for sure!
My Teaser
Parrotheads forever! I think it will be quite the trip. I have read a couple of his books and loved them. He is a very interesting character.

He is not only a writer, but a famous singer and songwriter. Thanks for dropping in.
Looks like a great read! Love Buffet! Now his tune, Margarittaville will be in my head for a while… lol
This sounds good. I like collections of short stories as you can tell by my teaser this week, Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing and for coming by.
I feel the same way, Laura. Thanks for coming by and happy reading. 🙂
