Unfortunately, my lens wasn’t quite wide enough. Enjoy.
Beautiful picture!!! Glad you shared that!!
Thanks.
Great capture, Sherry! Excellent halo effect!
Thanks Patrick. It was really eerie and kind of creepy. Might have to use it in a review. lol
I love it! It looks really cool!
Thanks Jennifer. I had the shivers as I laid on the ground trying to get the whole thing. I kept getting a feeling of impending doom. Maybe I’m reading too much. LOL
Great photo, Sherry, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Susan. Good to have you stop by. ^_^
Good morning. That is a really cool picture or should i call i something else? It would make a cool book cover. So if i copy it, would you ever object to it being used for that? I dont have any book in mind yet, but sometimes a ‘pic’ like that can inspire a book.
Thanks Lynda
I would have to think on that. I would want some kind of compensation, whether it be cash or an autographed book, an ebook or just a mention. I laid on the ground outside for over an hour and shot almost 100 shots. To me, that was the best of the bunch. I find it a challenge to try to match the pic in my head. This time I got pretty close. The only thing I could have done different is to have a wider lens. But I still love it. I feel, almost, uncomfortable looking at it. I get a feeling of impending doom. Thanks so much for your comment and interest in using it. I am working on a photography blog, so keep in touch. ^_^ .
Thank you Sherry, if i ever think of a book to go with that pic we must negotiate. You showed great dedication to lay still for so long. Weren’t you scared of bugs?
Here in the South, you have to get used to bugs. I try not to think about it. lol
I guess we all have to pay the price for our art. At least you got something really beautiful for your efforts! Stunning.
It was worth it. ^_^
Eerie and beautiful. Did it effect the shadows in your yard?
